Newly listed waterfront home. Best location on the Isle of Palms. Deepwater dock

Our family retreat, consisting of eight cousins from four states, gathered at this house in April, 2026. The house is located between the intercoastal waterway and the ocean, just a short walk to the beach. The house was PERFECT for us; plenty of space for coffee on the porch in the morning and dinners at the family size table in the dining room. We also enjoyed the lovely dock overlooking the intercoastal in the back yard. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of room for everyone to sleep well. Our host was super helpful. We hope to stay here again next year. Thank you!!

Very clean and comfortable property as advertised. Short walk to the beach. Kids really enjoyed fishing off the dock and the screened in porch was enjoyable.

This property was very nice for our family reunion. Ample room, bathrooms, sitting areas and ammenities. The location was ideal -situated on a scenic waterway that is the view from the backside of the home (so peaceful) and only 2 short blocks to the Isle of Palms beach. We hope to be back to IOP and to Clay's family home for our biannual trip in 2028 - Lord willing!

This was our second stay at 707 Palm and we will be back! New renovations this visit include new furniture, flooring, removal of doors creating a wide open space. The floor plan is great for big groups, with the bedrooms along a hall separate from living spaces.The dock is great for a boat, fishing and swimming.Front beach is an easy walk.The rope swing is hung so high the kids were amazed!Location is wonderful, host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property without reservation!

Great off street parking. We brought our boat and the dock was perfect. House is very room. Plenty of bathrooms. Bright sunroom. Questions answered promptly when asked

This is an awesome property. Close to everything. The house is huge. The pictures don’t do it justice and they have recently remodeled. It was a very quiet neighborhood too. Beautiful view and fun for a larger family or group. The host’s Dad check-in in on how our stay was going and that was very nice too. We would stay here again.

We loved sitting on the dock watching the wildlife- crabs, dolphins, pelicans, egrets and herons, to name a few. Great place to unwind!

Upon check in things were dirty. Handprints and dirty windows dirty door frames dirty light switches. After check in we noticed that some of the handles on the kitchen cabinets were missing and not replaced. Condition of the furniture had paint chips and it was old. The paint job in the yellow bathroom was the worst I've ever seen in my life. However all my brothers and cousins loved the location the house the design the layout including myself and the dock. We had a great time and this house is a great location and a great place to stay I just hope the owner will update it a little bit better than what it is.

Great location, lots of parking, several options for spacious and comfortable gathering spots inside and out for family and friends, bedrooms were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms for the house size. Dock is aged but fully functional- accommodated our 27-ft center console so we were able to enjoy sitting beside the quiet waterfront as well as accessing the deep water by boat all from the backyard.

We loved out stay at this beautiful IOP home. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching for dolphins. The walk to the beach is very short and easy. Great house and host.

Great home in wonderful location with outstanding views. Our family really enjoyed how spacious this property is with large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. We all spent a lot of time enjoying the game room and screened in porch, but the dock over the canal was by far our favorite!l spot! We were able to watch dolphins swim right by. The beach is a quick 5 minute walk and the center of town is less than half a mile away. The location is excellent overall. The only issue was the home did not have a gas grill, but did have charcoal grill and it could use some newer/larger life jackets for the water toys. Other than that, everything was great and it was a good value for IOP, especially considering the outstanding water access and views.

Great house with dock for your fishing boat

We have stayed here numerous times over the past few years and love it! It's wheelchair accessible, which is important to us. We love to fish and crab from the dock, and just sit on the back porch enjoying the view. Clay is very responsive and helpful. We are heading back in October and already planning next summer's vacation at this lovely home.

House was great, everything we needed including multiple beach chairs and a beach wagon. Clay was responsive to all communication and questions. Less than a 5 minute walk to beach. Would definitely stay again.

The experience from check in to check out was convenient and Clay was an awesome host. The house is in a perfect location with plenty of space for our group of 10. Some took the short walk to the beach while most just enjoyed our time between the game room and dock. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of seating around large tables for family meals and entertaining. We look forward to returning in the future.

The spacious house had numerous gathering places for all 8 adults. Each couple had their own private bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The screened in porch was nice for visiting and enjoying the back yard overlooking the water. We were able to spot numerous dolphins from the porch.Very close to wonderful restaurants and grocery store. The host kept us informed about check in policies and was quick to respond to any questions. A great vacation home!

Best place yet for family thanksgiving get together. We’ve done James Island, Folly, and Edisto, this is the best. Plenty of room all on one floor. Clean and pretty well equipped. Nice pier and dock on deep water creek. Caught fish but no crabs. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful family home. We spent a lot of time on the spacious back screened in porch. You can hear the ocean out front and so we ended up sitting in the garage a few nights of our stay as well. We rented a golf cart to explore the area and to trick or treat with the little ones. This home is an easy walk to the beach. We will definitely visit again.

If you enjoy fishing off the dock while being within walking distance of the beach, this is the perfect place to be! We have stayed here numerous times and have already scheduled next summer’s week. Our family loves spending time on the dock fishing. Clay is wonderful and we are so grateful to be able to rent his lovely home. The house is wheelchair accessible which we need. Cannot wait for our next trip!

The communication with the owner was exceptional, especially since he lives in the Asheville area and we were there just after hurricane Helene. With that being said, there are some unresolved issues that others have also committed. There was an issue with the hall smoke detector (chirping) and the owner instructed us, the guest, to disconnect after being told to change the battery and then clean the sensor. While all but one bathroom is extremely outdated, one had tiles popped out around the drain and was unusable. There are 4 bathrooms with one being a suite. Overall, the house served its purpose but myself and other family members were disappointed in the overall condition of the house considering the cost, along the nonchalant interaction with the home owner regarding the smoke detector would prevent me from staying here again or referring others. I could post pictures that are not posted of the bathrooms and general appearance of the home.

Stayed with family to attend wedding in Charleston. Beautiful location, spacious house, plenty of room for 6 adults. Super quiet during Hurricane Helene! Host was responsive and helpful.

The house had everything you needed for a family vacation, very clean plenty of linens, bathrooms and beds, was provided with enough paper products and soaps and shampoos to get you started on your vacation from the first moment you get there, the family loved the ping pong and pool table, and spent many enjoyable hours fishing from the dock and walking the beach, the stores and restaurants are near by for convenience, will return soon.
