Newly Built Luxury Oasis Steps to River Front w/ Parking by Lucky Savannah

This house was perfect for our family. Our son walked to the river to go fishing everyday. It’s a short walk to some restaurants and shops. A short drive to downtown with plenty of public parking. The house was very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

The home itself is stunning, spotlessly clean, and provided the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our stay. The area is quiet, safe, and the balcony gives you a view of the river. Lucky Savannah was incredibly accommodating and quickly responsive to our questions. If we find ourselves in the Savannah area again, this will 100% be the home we stay at. The house is beautiful & had all the conveniences we could ask for. Be aware that this home has a LOT of steps! The layout is nice, but there are 3 levels. It was quiet & we enjoyed watching the boats going down the river. Every time I had a question, our host was quick to answer. We requested more dish towels & they brought them right away. The only thing I would recommend is that you have some local channels on your smart tvs. We were there when Hurricane Helene rolled thru on the night of the 26th & it would have been nice to know what was happening locally. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you Lucky Savannah Crew!!

There was a lot of noise during our stay. There is ongoing construction very nearby in the development. Also the rental is very close to a port with train and ship traffic loading/unloading shipping containers until very late in the evening. The listing description is also inaccurate in stating that all three bedrooms are on the third floor. One bedroom is on the ground floor level and the other two are on the third floor. There are no towel hooks or bars for hanging towels in any of the bathrooms in the house, which seems strange. We were only provided one roll of paper towels and one kitchen towel for the kitchen for our week long stay. While there are dishes and pans provided, there are no spices other than salt and pepper and no coffee filters. There were no instructions about how to access the garage. Turned out the garage door opener was not located where it should have been, so we didn't see it. We did have an issue while we were there and the property manager was responsive and did take action to appease us, although there were issues with communication between them, maintenance, and housekeeping. It was easy to drive to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go around the Savannah area. We did not do a lot of walking due to the extremely hot and humid weather during our stay, but there are some good restaurants and the River Walk close by.

Everything was great….some suggestions, replace rug in dinning area. The rug was very soiled, also you should have a dimmer installed for the chandelier in dinning area (we couldn’t find it). Some of the bedding was very worn maybe replace for the new guest. Replace or fix outside entrance wall lamp and the construction going on was horrible. But really all in all we enjoyed the stay…Savannah is beautiful!

The garage was broken, and there was no coffee at all which I thought was odd. The management company advised we could park there since we were all coming from different states, so we parked there and went to grab lunch. They charge me $40 for early check in even though we didn’t step food into the house until after 5 pm. They did end up reversing the charge, but the customer service was not the best.
