Newly Built Luxury Lakefront Lodge With Sandy Beach,Kayak/SUPs, Dock

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house was lovely! We appreciate the attentiveness of the management company.

We really enjoyed the house. It’s a beautiful home. We were a little disappointed that there was no hot tub. The VRBO listing showed a hot tub and all of the literature inside the house said there was a hot tub, as well. We intentionally booked a house with a hot tub, since we were coming in May for a soccer tournament and were expecting cold weather. Other than that, we were very happy with the house and had everything we needed.

The morning of our first night, the fire alarm went off. I spent 30 mins, trying to disarm it. After texting and calling the contact #, I received a text back with multiple codes to try. One worked, but once disarmed it started again. It wouldn’t stop. The fire dept showed up during this and said there were several zones that triggered a carbon monoxide alarm. They said they couldn’t leave until the technician arrived . The tech showed up after 11am, he looked to be maybe 18 or 19 years old. We spent our whole morning dealing with this which delayed the start of our day. Before we left, I asked if we were good to leave and asked if he would lock up (which he did not). When I mentioned co2 to the other ladies in my group, shockingly, more than half of them woke that morning with a headache! they didn’t think anything of it until we had this discussion. Too much of a coincidence and very scary. All day I was a little nervous as I hadn’t heard from them for an update. I reached out after 6PM and the mgr said it was a combo of perfume and/or dirty detectors. If it was dirty detectors, why were multiple zones triggered? The fire dept said the alarms were triggered at 9:30AM. There was no perfume being sprayed at this time. Plus, never heard of perfume triggering a CO2 alarm. And this is a new build. The asst mgr was very apologetic, but I feel the mgr, who never once apologized, downplayed the situation a bit. The texting went on till almost 8PM. I didnt have a warm feeling

Our family was seeking a quick fall weekend getaway and Lakemore Retreat exceeded our expectations. The Adams Family should be incredibly proud of the oasis they’ve built there on Arbutus Lake. The property is pristine. The lake is gorgeous. It’s close enough to have the conveniences of Traverse City, but far enough away to have silence and tranquility of Northern Michigan. Well done!

Our time at this modern lakehouse, nestled along the beautiful lake, was truly delightful. The proximity to downtown Traverse City only enhanced the experience. Our bride-to-be wanted a relaxing getaway and this was an excellent choice. With its serene waterside location and comfortable accommodations for 10 guests, it promises a rejuvenating escape. The owner and the helper there were both great and made the process so easy. Highly recommend!

I just graduated from Law School and I wanted to say thank you to my friends who got me through. It was the perfect location to introduce my friends to Northern Michigan. We spent half of our time hanging out at the house relaxing and the other half exploring the TC area. Perfect weekend!

We had a wonderful stay over New Year’s weekend. The property was beautiful, clean, well-appointed and just as advertised. We especially enjoyed the use of the hot tub, grill and pool table during our stay. Check-in process went smoothly and we appreciated the personalized touch of being greeted by staff upon arrival. Tricia and staff responded quickly to questions and were very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

The property was beautiful and clearly well kept! The house was everything it was described to be which we so appreciated that! There were no surprises! The place was indeed BEAUTIFUL! Spacious! Clean! Cozy! Stocked with everything we needed! I’d recommend this place over and over again!
