Pros: Cute, clean, spacious for family of 3, decent location for the area. Cons: Weak wifi (need to completely log off all devices for a movie to work buffering takes 15-30mins) I recommend owner get a DVD player with stack of videos. No hooks or drawers to put clothes. Or towel racks. Only 1 small mirror to get dressed.(Vanderkamp is around the corner offering wedding packages if it takes off guests will be seeking better accommodations to get dressed) Mosquitoes and spiders are rampid inside the house. Even with bug spray you can't enjoy the porch. You can see the splatter marks from ppl smashing them on the walls. There is a giant wasps nest in the entrance at the top of the roof. No cleaning sprays available to maintain cleanliness during a stay. Usually that's in all rentals we've been in. No cutting board. Looks like others have been using counter top to cut. No chopping knives. This location as is is more suited for RV campers needing an extra accomodation during travels.
This cabin was so new we could smell the wood when we entered. The cabin has a full size kitchen with all the needs to make meals. The bathroom was large with a laundry available. There was a private bedroom, with a very comfortable bed, and 2 futons for the kids. There is a TV with multiple apps available to watch. There is a back porch to barbeque and sit on to listen to the wildlife. It is a bit of a drive to get groceries and such but that was the point to get away. It was a pleasure to stay here and I would again but longer next time.
Very clean, darling, and a total dream. Perfect place to get away from the noise and stress of everyday life and truly find peace. We woke up happily each morning to the birds singing and enjoyed the view of the lush spring greenery out every window. We had a fabulous stay and will certainly be back again. Thanks for the hospitality!
Amazing getaway!! So relaxing and peaceful. Literally in the woods and if you’re lucky to go in a snowy month what a winter wonderland. House was perfect, nice and comfy. I suggest going in a suv or pickup truck. Main road was plowed but driveway to the house was covered in snow and unfortunately had to clear my own path to drive my vehicle in. There are diners not to far from the house and a Walmart about 30 min away. I’d definitely recommend this location for a family getaway or just you and your spouse. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed at this cabin for a second time. It was just as neat and clean as last year. There was some issue with low water pressure, but the owner was very responsive and offered to send out a plumber. We enjoyed the quiet remoteness and having a campfire each night. We definitely plan to visit again.

Beautiful cabin for our family. Everything was so clean and comfortable! Good location, about 20 minutes from good food!
Very clean, renovated building. With all needed items. Good location near lake and kids playground.
We had a wonderful quiet time. Most points of interest are located 30 minutes to an hour away, but our stay was restful and rejuvenating. The owner was easy to reach when we needed him. I highly recommend this listing for families with younger children.
The house was very nice, brand new and well appointed. We had an issue with the wifi when we checked in but that was delat with immediatley by the owner. Low water pressure in the shower and hot/cold are reversed when you turn it on, but that was easy to get accustomed to. The only real issue we had was the yard. It was very rocky and weeded. We could not bring our dog outside to go to the bathroom in the yard because of the overgrown weeds, and had to bring her off site to walk her (in the car down to Lake Oneida) due to the biting deer flies (the flies are not the owner's fault of course). Other than the yard for a dog, this house was really lovely.
People with allergies will not be able to handle the weeds that are growing outside the cabin it’s very weedy outside the cabin area also needs to be pavers in front of the steps so you don’t bring mud inside the cabin just need some work done The water pressure sucks the hot water cold water or in the wrong position hot water comes on first in the shower the washer and dryer needs to be leveled when it goes into spin mode and shakes the whole cabin
very clean and well appointed
We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. The owner has just started out with VRBO from our understanding and has tried to think of everything you may need during your stay. I would suggest bringing beach towels if you are heading out for water activities and bug spray as you are out in the woods. I would recommend this totally for anyone looking for that camping feel while enjoying the comfort and convenience of having the things you need and a clean retreat of this beautiful cabin
Amazing cabin, great communication! I highly recommend this property!!!
We spent our spring break at the cabin and had a very lovely time. The cabin itself is brand new and immaculate. The area feels very quiet and remote but also has all the comforts of home (internet, TV, washer/dryer, full kitchen, etc). We enjoyed the back deck for dining and the fire pit next to the cabin for evening camp fires. The host was very responsive with a few questions we had and that was a nice bonus. We will definitely be staying here again.
