Our lovely house is nestled in a sunny clearing among tall pine trees, with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. The beach (Governor Patterson Memorial State Park) is located 1000 feet from the house and can be accessed via a charming trail (three/four minute walk) from the house or by walking along the main highway (five minute walk).
Crestview Golf Club, a 9-hole public course, is located less than a mile away and Oregon Coast Aquarium at Newport is a 20 minute drive. The house is

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Exactly as advertised! Kitchen was well equipped to make our thanksgiving meal. Walk to the beach was easy. The coffee shop at the end of the driveway is a huge perk! Conveniently located for easy access to great hiking, sightseeing, restaurants and groceries.

Stayed Jul 14, 2025Wonderful place with plenty of space! Only downgraded it because it’s not actually beach front. There’s a large marshland between the property and the beach. There is a path to the beach that is about a 5 min walk.

Stayed Jul 21, 2025Very comfortable and well maintained house. We were 3 older couples. The one story house with just a couple of stairs to one of the bedrooms was excellent for us. And each of the couples had their own bathroom!Beach access was a little funky to find initially but really easy - no hills or messy vegetation - someone definitely maintains the path.The kitchen had everything we needed, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, utensils. We didn't feel at a loss for anything.Excellent stay and we put this on our we can return list.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025A great vibe on the beach for our family. Short, fun walk out to the beach with the hot tub to warm us up afterward. Beachside Buzz was a bonus as a nextdoor breakfast option with many options for sweet or savory food or beverages. Clean and well kept if a tad sandy on the floors (I suppose it is near impossible to get all the sand up!)

Stayed Jul 6, 2024This is our second time staying here with our family. It's a great place to chill with everyone. Waldport isn't nearly as busy as most coastal towns so it's not so overwhelming but close to everything and has great little shopping places. The little path to the beach is pretty accessible to everyone. Some of us are older and have bad knees and it wasn't an issue. The privacy of it is amazing. It's so green and many trees with a view of the ocean. You don't really hear a lot of traffic noise from hwy 101 and the neighbors are not right on top of you, which is hard to find on the coast. This is by far our favorite spot to stay!

Stayed May 24, 2024Loved this place so much! The trail to the beach was magical? had amazing quality time with my family❤️ Owner was so awesome and on top of things! Had a problem with the propane tank and they had someone sent over to replace it in less than 10 minutes. First time in Waldport and it was the best beach house experience we’ve ever had!
