Stayed Jul 28, 2024We had a good time at this property! Great location, across the street from the private beach which was fine for a bunch of little kids, and a short walk to a bigger public beach and near a nice downtown area. Sand definitely accumulates quickly, outdoor faucet would be helpful, but otherwise no issues with cleanliness, beds were comfortable, and each unit has a washer and dryer to keep towels cycling my through. Was ok size for 3 small families (1 or 2 little kids each), a bit snug. Overall a good value for a pseudo beach house.

Stayed May 23, 2024Nice area, but book a different house! Inattentive owners. Initially no contact received until I messaged the day before check-in asking for info. Very little info provided. Messaged owner from airport and she didn’t seem to realize we were checking in that day (wasn’t a last minute reservation). Contacted host after arrival about ants in both units, food/drink left in fridge, and tub filled as you showered (clogged drain), but no offer to fix anything. Only 1 towel each given (no toiletries) and we had to go buy toilet paper. Group of 10 people staying 5 nights, so issues were super inconvenient. Multiple inaccuracies in listing. Photos/descriptions imply that a pool and beach area with wicker chairs were part of the property, but they are not. NOT oceanfront. Beach is mostly private backyards for other homes. One room listed as bedroom has no closet and bed barely fits. No photos/mention of stairs, but first floor has 7+ steps with no rail after entry (building code?) which was an issue for grandparents (I messaged host at booking that many in our group were older). Info states that it’s good for groups that want “togetherness and separateness”, but NO connection between units at all. Biggest issue was undisclosed cameras, which violates VRBO policy. No attempt by host to address concerns about condition upon arrival, maintenance issues, or misleading listing. Came for daughter’s college graduation. Wanted to leave, but stuck as no other place was available. Disappointed!
