We have stayed here twice now, both stays over 2 weeks. This is a vintage home, with some quirky aspects, but with modern conveniences where it counts. Lots of the original architectural features are retained, which gives it a lot of charm. Decently furnished kitchen. Nice little office area. Good parking (but access front or back is via several stairs - steep in back - so not for those with mobility issues) Nice sitting areas in back and on the front porch. Bedrooms are pretty quiet; one bed is memory foam. The location is great, especially for walkers or runners, with Wingfield Park extremely close by; and everything downtown is also very walkable. All in all, a good value and a unique, well located place to stay when exploring the Reno area. We would stay here again.

Wonderful property and host, even better than described! We stayed a week, and appreciated the modern appliances in the historic home. Host was friendly, responsive and answered any questions we had. Finally the location was easy to access and within easy walking distance to a beautiful park along the river. We can’t wait to visit again.

Beautifully furnished, very comfortable, spacious home with antiques including several Tiffany lamps. One-block walk to riverside trail that leads to downtown, outside of city, and to big park with community events and farmers market. Appreciate the natural cleaning supplies and toiletries. Large bright kitchen and natural lighting in most rooms. Easy to access major roads and highways. No mountain view but very easy to get to trails and mountains- pleasant front and back yards.

My sister and I stayed in this Riverside bungalow to attend wedding festivities for a niece. The property is very well maintained and well appointed for a super comfortable stay! The house really had everything we needed including more than basic cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings historically and aesthetically appropriate for a 1920s bungalow. The house is steps from the Downtown Reno Riverwalk that is bustling with activity and beautiful. Idlewild Park and downtown are both within walking distance on the Riverwalk. There is also a fine French restaurant, a hip coffee shop, a wine bar, and a chocolate shop all with 3 blocks! Patrick and Nela were proactive and very responsive communicators and genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommend this stay!!

This house was everything the listing says and then it has all the charm that can’t be put into words. My family of 5 were really comfortable and made use of all the amenities (fully equipped kitchen and laundry). The area is also very dog friendly, we went on nice walks along the river that’s right by the house. It seems like a safe neighborhood as well. Communication with the hosts was great, they were very responsive and accommodating. Look forward to staying here again!

This truly is a Riverside Gem! Communication with Patrick was very accommodating The property was exactly as described. This beautiful, vintage house is so comfortable and quiet. There is a brochure of the history of the house in the welcome book which we found very interesting. The kitchen is very well stocked and a great size to do any size meal with a great dining room to enjoy your culinary creations. The rooms are a great size and the beds are very comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised at the location of the home - 1/2 block from the very walkable Truckee River and far enough away from the riff raff of downtown hustle and bustle. We will definitely look this property up again on our next stay in town.

Loved this quaint vintage home! We were visiting for a family funeral. It was such a nice place to come back to at the end of each emotional day. Even with busy streets nearby you didn’t really notice the traffic. The home is close to the Truckee River which has a beautiful shady walking path next to it. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Would book it again. Especially enjoyed the two little squirrels in the backyard.

This is a cute property close to so much. A short walk to the river walk. Downtown is just a little further. Easy to get on and off the freeway. The neighborhood is a bit sketch, but I felt safe. The house is old and nicely renovated. The house is clean and the beds are comfortable. There is not a quite place to sit outside. The front porch is inviting, but right on a busy highway.
