Perfect location! Less than a mile from beaches, Jones Park, Gulfport Marina, and Mississippi Aquarium. Only a 5 minute walk to Beach View/Island View Casino, downtown Gulfport, bars, brewery, restaurants, and shopping. The house was built in 1909 and sits among some of the oldest houses in Gulfport's Historic District.

Stayed May 29, 2026Our stay at The Purple Frog home was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, the house felt like home - cozy, welcoming, and full of such a fun, relaxing vibe. As soon as you enter, you feel like you are home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our time.The location was perfect too - centrally located and convenient to everything we wanted to do. From restaurants, to casinos and entertainment venues.What really made the experience even better was the host, who was incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We loved learning the history of The Purple Frog home.... during our stay we nick named the frog Pete for our visit and would tell him hello and goodbye when passing by.We loved everything about The Purple Frog and are already looking forward to staying here next year. Highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway!

Stayed Oct 12, 2024Thus was a great houae juat the right size for me and my husband but would have also been great if we would have had a couple children or even adults. Short drive to thr beach strip road and Bolixi. Would most definitely stay again if in the area.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. Beds were super comfortable, everyone slept like a rock. Its a little far from the store but it was worth it for the quite. Tiffany was an amazing host,super easy to get ahold of . Checked in on us when we got there and made sure ecerything was perfect. We will definitely be back!
