Stayed Feb 9, 2025Home was easy to check in and VERY clean. Nice quiet street. Treatment by one of the hosts though was super condescending when the hot tub had issues turning on. Expectation was host would control hot tub by a simple text asking them to turn on remotely (were told this more than once) BUT when you check in you find out guest actually controls the hot tub and when hot tub would not turn on 2 days straight host blamed us for de-programming the hot tub. Not to mention there are no lights where all the pool and hot tub equipment are so you are using your phone as a flashlight if at night to try to figure out how to turn on. There was no remote to turn hot tub off and on with, you have to go to the rock covered side yard in the dark to figure it out. Also conflicting messages about what the hourly rate for use of hot tub would be. Host also asked us to prove when we were using hot tub and when it was turned off etc. So needless to say after day 2 of 3 we gave up on hot tub which was disappointing as the rate to lease a home with hot tub/pool is obviously higher than a home without NOR were we ever offered compensation for not being able to use it, just a whole lot of blame. WE ARE NOT pool techs and should not be expected to know how to do this. Did not appreciate being treated like children. MODERN is a true statement of the description of the property but family room furniture was super uncomfortable and cold. Bring your own cozy blankets if you want to stay warm in family room.
