Hoodsport, Washington
Come stay at Lake Cushman and enjoy the Olympic National Forest as your backyard. The Jupiter's Landing cabin is a short mile from the lake where you can enjoy hiking, camping, boating, and fishing.
If you like Kokanee and Cutthroat trout, then this is the spot for you. However, if you're looking for a quiet cozy getaway in the forest, then this might be for you as well!
JUPITER'S LANDING
After a long day out adventuring, come back to this cozy cabin tucked in the woods along Mt Jupiter Place. The fully stocked kitchen will give you all you need to cook up a storm.
The A-frame shape of this home makes it unique to other cabins. The main floor has the kitchen and living area morphed into one, making it quite cozy. We say no more than 5 people, please!
The loft has a large queen sized bed. There is also a bedroom on the first floor that has a bunk bed set up if you want to bring along your little ones. Better yet, bring your buddies and have them crash in the bunks. Make them relive their childhood!

Nice kitchen. Bathroom is weird.Toilet faces the wrong direction. Useable but weird.
Clean and neat. Well stocked in case you forgot to bring something along. Only disappointment, there was a TV, but no signal or service. That was okay, got a chance to do some reading.
Cute, homey A-frame cabin. Huge windows let in lots of light. The master bedroom loft is accessible only by a steep ladder, so we slept in the 1st floor full bed, which didn't have a great mattress. Mattress was just OK. Would I stay again? Definitely!! Close to great hiking trails. Recommend Mt. Ellinor for a strenuous but rewarding hike.
Overall, the cabin is very comfortable. Plenty of space for three adults. Outside of the broken bead frame that we had to prop up with 2x6'sthe we had in our truck, would suggest cleaning the mold from around the windows and shower stall. Also, if the toilet was turned to a 45° angle it would be much more convenient to use. In the we would definitely rent it again.
The property was great.
Cabin was very cozy and in a very pretty location. It’s perfect after a day of exploring the national forest in the area.
The wifi did not work. Unresponsive to our request to put items in refrigerator so we could hike before check in. I left 2 voicemails on the number they told me to call on the day of checkin. No one called vack. Management instructions referred to non existent checklists. Rate advertised became double with all the fees.
Perfect and very nice house to visit anywhere in the Olympic Park.
Cozy little cabin - stairs to loft are steep (not a problem for me), it's cute and has everything you need. I will say if you are a bit larger of a person, the toilet is a little tight against the shower, but the value and location is fantastic. Would def recommend.
This place was a perfect base for our weekend in the area. Had everything we needed plus there is a bbq (which I didn’t remember from the listing). Easy access the Lake Cushman, Hood Canal, hiking and biking. Dog friendly however we found dog hair from other dogs. Didn’t bother our lab but if your dog is more sensitive to the presence of other pets, be aware.
Great location for enjoying lake Cushman!
This cabin is simple and small, but perfect for a quick getaway. Nice and clean with a super quiet neighborhood. We'd definitely come back!
Had a nice stay at this cute little cabin with our family of five. A good location for exploring Olympic National Park and hanging out at Lake Cushman and Lake Kokanee. You have to drive a ways to get lake access to Lake Cushman but other than that it's a nice location.
The lodging is a nestled in a moderately developed woodland setting. Do not let the outside appearance on approach put you off too much - the side/backyard portion is somewhat in need of updating. Nicely appointed, had all we needed. Pictures and description are accurate, though as two adults and a teenage son and one dog we filled the space fairly completely so five adults might be pushing it. Note - if you have physical impairments you might find the toilet challenging - I am 5 foot, 11 inches and my knees touched the shower stall when seated on the toilet - you have to straddle it to get there due to the very tight location (on remodel should flip-flop location of sink and toilet IMO). Description could be updated to include that there IS a gas grill on the deck. Main psych out on the amenities was the presence of a Roku packaging box and remote - but no actual Roku device. The glitches occur with the management company - (a) their 8-page document includes incorrect directions (i.e. they end with from 119 (Lake Cushman Road) turn L on Standstill, when the property actually is a right turn and a couple of more maneuvers off of 119 - so be sure to map it once you have the address and print or write it down since you may not have cell / data service once out there.) (b) They are quick to locate you reservation and process additional payments, i.e. for bringing a third guest when you call them; but unable to locate the reservation when calling to ask for accurate directions (see above), hmmmmmm. (c) Also, their 8-page document includes NO checkout instructions (do we strip beds or not, etc.) so be sure to contact them and ask during their regular business hours so you do not incur the after hours non-emergency call fee.
We had a great time at this sweet property. Heads up, there is NO A/C, so on a hot day the house remains very warm. We really liked the location, super clean and functional house (well stocked) and the lake was wonderful.
This property was just as pictured. So great for my family of four. Only downfalls was no contact with property manager, the number you call goes to a voice mail and I never received a call back with a question I had while checking in. The toilet in the bath room is right up against the shower. You have to straddle it to sit down. NO AC. There are small fans and a ceiling fan in the home but it didn't do much to cool things off.
Very cute little A-frame home in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed ourselves there. The home had everything we needed.
It was clean safe comfortable!!!
Lovely little cabin near Lake Cushman.
I had one small snafu which was corrected promptly. It was a perfect location for my stay during the family reunion.
Cozy cabin, a short-ish drive from lake and hikes.
