This property is so well thought out for the comfort of guests. It is beautiful and all needs are covered. A slice of heaven on the canal.
We were a family of four with two adult children. We enjoyed the place tremendously! The view is to die for! The property is old but well taken care of. I liked the kitchen the most , especially that Wulf gas stove. It had all possible utensils, even a Kitchenaid mixer, which came handy, as I was able to make a cake for a birthday for one of my boys! We liked a sauna and a jacuzzi. My boys enjoyed kayaking. Highly recommend!
Great property! Great Location! Property manager was great to communicate with. Responded in a timely manner when we had a couple of questions. We love going to Hood Canal and are so happy we found this property! Thank you so much for sharing your property with us…We will definitely be back!!
Absolutely loved this place. Oysters abound. Many ways to warm up after being outside: Hot tub, sauna, woodstove or even a soak in the clawfoot tub. The Wolf stove is ready to cook up your oyster stew. Then relax and watch a movie, choose from a huge selection of DVD's. It was perfect!
Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Great hosts!
We had a wonderful time with the family. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna that came with the gray cabin, as well the wood stove. The only disappointment was that the low tide wasn’t low enough to get decent oysters and ones near the shore were all taken….. better luck next year
We have loved visiting the Hood Canal. Previously, we have stayed in a hotel. The choice of renting this cabin was 100% better. It’s quiet, a beautiful view, amazing kitchen and close to town. We’ll be back.
The house and view on the water is wonderful! Not a complaint at all about the house and view. The hot tub was great. The sauna was divine. The kayaks were so much fun! There are not many places to eat on the canal. There is a main road on the canal which all the houses back up to and the car/truck noise is noticeable from the house and deck. I imagine all of the houses on the canal experience this.
We could not be happier! We had a wonderful time, the house is super adorable, has everything you need and more. We enjoyed the place so much we never even left the property for the day days we were there. We watched the sunrise and took in the view's from the deck. The place feels very private even though there are 2 other cabins on the property. The only thing I could say that would be a negative is the 101 traffic noise - but this would not keep us away from coming back one bit! We will definitely be going back for another stay here. Already looking forward to it!
Very clean and right on the water.
Our family enjoyed reading on the deck, cooking pancakes on the amazing stove griddle, swimming in the canal, bathing in the adorable tub and evenings in the hot tub & sauna. A very well appointed house! All amenities easy to use. The host is always responsive and accommodating. A wonderful family vacation spot. Toodling in the kayaks a plus. We look forward to coming again!
Wonderful as usual. Nice cooling off the water
We had a lovely time - the deck is shaded by a beautiful cedar tree. Found a book by Greg Olsen in the big grey cabin written about a murder at the cabin!!! very exciting. Had a bit of trouble with the freezer which Suzanne took care of. Nice lace and good collection of DVDs!
Amazing location, right on the beach. Fun family vacation spot. Oysters were delicious.
Cabin 1 is a vintage 1930s cottage with hot tub and sauna, 2Br, 2Bath. We loved the decor. The beds were great, and the kitchen well-equipped. Right on the canal with a spacious deck. We enjoyed the kayaks as well. It was a nice four-day stay, and we would come back.
Great place for a getaway, very well stocked kitchen compared to most. Nothing fancy, just a simple cottage with the bonus of sauna, hot tub and kayaks. The windows could use an upgrade as they don’t provide as much light/view because of age I think but I would stay again.
My daughter enjoyed the sauna and hot tub and just picking the shells on the beach. Very relaxing getaway in a peaceful neighborhood on the canal.
Super clean, tastefully decorated, nice kitchen.
This may be one of the cleanest rental that I've stayed in. So many thoughtful touches. The sauna and hot tub were amazing and the garden was a special treat. We had a lovely time and cooked all our meals with ease (kitchen had everything we needed).
