Stayed Apr 19, 2025This was a fantastic rental that fulfilled our needs. A friend and I needed a place to rent for a weekend near Cookeville, and these accommodations were perfect. The place accommodated us, but it would also work very well for a couple or a small family. This place was above and beyond anything we would expect from a hotel, and we hope to use it again. Algood and Cookeville proper are just a few minutes' drive away, but it was very quiet and peaceful.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025This place was adorable and was exactly as described. We loved being close to downtown but yet not. It was nice to feel more secluded but still able to quickly and easily drive to restaurants and shops. My friend and I were there to chase waterfalls and were able to explore 3 state parks, all pretty close by: no more than a 40 min drive. We are already talking about staying here again! It really was perfect!

Stayed Nov 1, 2024The best getaway! Our 3rd stay for a girls weekend and we will continue to come back every fall! The hosts have truly thought of everything you would need to stay in this cottage. We loved the new addition of the fire pit area out back. 10/10 recommend!

Stayed Jul 28, 2024The cottage was clean, with beautiful views of the outdoors. I truly enjoyed the peace, quiet, and comfort of the stay. Though nearby restaurants and shopping, the cottage feels like you are away from it all. I visited for work in the area and will absolutely request to book for all of my future visits!
