Stayed May 20, 2024This is a lovely and quiet home steps away from the US Capitol, museums, shops…and amazing restaurants. You can also Uber Eats easily to enjoy in the large dining room and outdoor space. Close proximity to Reagan National too. The best way to live like a Washingtonian…for a couple of days or a little longer! Design, comfort and proximity. Win, Win, Win!

Stayed Jul 30, 2022Great location for DC visit, near the Capitol and Capitol South metro station. Three stories were rough for my aging body but the home accommodated our clan of 10 well.

Stayed Mar 20, 2022Such a beautiful home, exactly like the photos & so welcoming! We stayed for a week and loved everything about the home especially the location, the sheets, the space and all the amazing little restaurants nearby, and also a Trader Joes. One night we hosted a dinner party and had a local private chef cook for us (Chef Daryl) and the kitchen/dining was perfect! We cant say enough how wonderful it was & thank you David for being so responsive with my silly questions. We’ll be back!!

Stayed Nov 23, 2021The property was as advertised. Old DC charm in a fantastic neighborhood. Never took us longer than 20 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go. Had everything we needed - down to shampoo and step stools! Beds are extremely comfortable. Stairs are narrow and creek, but adds to the old world charm of the place. Would certainly stay again!

Stayed Sep 27, 2021My women friends and I had a great stay in Washington, DC. This is an excellent property. Perfect location. East access to Metro. Comfortable beds. Very responsive host. We would happily return to this property. Please note there is no bathroom on the ground floor. Also, would suggest the host do a thorough walkthrough before each rental. We encountered a plumbing problem, probably because of reduced rental demand in 2021, that could have been resolved prior to our arrival.
