You'll love your stay at this light filled cozy yet spacious two bedroom (and two full bath) cottage located in Ocean Beach, the largest town on Fire Island. A car free barrier island, a visit to Fire Island will feel like a real getaway. To get to the house, it's a short 6 minute walk from the ferry in Ocean Beach (which is arrived at from Bay Shore, Long Island). A discreet entry on a switchback ramp takes you to a spacious wraparound deck under a giant maple tree and surrounded by bamboo.

Stayed Aug 24, 2024We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay! The house is absolutely beautiful, it's clean, it's spacious and it is very well equipped with all of the essentials, and then some! Lots of natural light and cool breezes throughout. The kitchen is loaded with cookware and utensils, and the fridge is large and holds lots of food. The bedrooms are roomy and each has a very comfortable bed. This home is in a perfect location in Ocean Beach on a very quiet block with short walks to town and the beach. Lots of beach gear provided and four bicycles, as well. The owner, Johanna, was very quick to answer any questions we had and provided us with lots of helpful information. By the end of our stay, we all felt a noticeable feeling of tranquility and peacefulness. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to stay there and we look forward to booking again next season!

Stayed Aug 5, 2024The house was amazing. Great location right in the middle between town and the beach. Quiet and secluded the bamboo trees were awesome. The house was lovely and comfortable. Host was great quick to answer questions and friendly.
