The house was perfect!

Very little hot water, dirty dishes, good location

We had a very nice trip and enjoyed staying at your home. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have separate bathrooms for each couple. The game table was a great thing to have, it got a lot of use. The view of course was spectacular! We couldn't have asked for better weather either! Everything was comfortable!Just an FYI, the downstairs bedroom in the back of the house didn't have heat. There was also no plastic wrap, foil, or baggies which would have been helpful.

The house was perfectly situated on the beach for views and walks each day. Kitchen had what we needed to make large family meals. Place has a cool 70’s vibe but some of the beds, floors, lights and appliances may be from that decade too! So if you aren’t expecting modern and new, it’s a great place to be together with lots of space!

We stayed 4 nights at this house. 6 people and 1 small dog. The house had the basics, though no dishwasher detergent/pods, and one of the beds wasn’t very clean. Sand and/or crumbs on the sheets. We headed up washing the sheets after an uncomfortable night. We did appreciate the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Though the upstairs sunroom was nice and has a fabulous view, the furniture and layout didn’t make it that welcoming. We used the BBQ and fireplace. Very cozy. It was very quiet and easy to get to the beach and we would stay here again.

My family and I have stayed here, several times and we love this place! The location is great, so close to the beach and the house has so much space, it works so well for me and my extended family to all get together. We will be staying here again!

Pros: Everything inside the home was good! Stuff was clean. Most everything was provided. The only thing was that the view you get of the ocean is from the second floor. I don't know if I missed that in the listing, otherwise the home was perfect. No need for AC as the windows above and below are perfect to allow a sea breeze inside the home to keeping it cool during the day. The rest is just to give some suggestions really as I love the home. The only Constructive criticism:1. Upstairs could use a desk in the bedroom. It's a fairly empty room already and it's big. Would've been perfect to set up my laptop there to work on my D&D stuff as family/friends of nerds it would've been a cool space for writing and set-up.2. Continuing with the upstairs, for our stay we primarily hung out there during the day. It would be nice to put in a mini fridge of some kind where the sink is instead of the cabinets to keep our drinks and snacks. But that could be different for other people who stay, just what we ended up doing.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Check in was very easy. It's super close to the beach, and the path is easy (shown in photo). We loved being able to watch the sunset from the upstairs sun room, however the windows could have been clearer. The house was very clean in general, and had lots of extra supplies like towels, blankets, etc. Kitchen is equipped enough for those who like to cook, including some spices. Bedrooms are huge, and beds are pretty comfy. It's a great location, and feels very secluded. Old town Florence is just about 12 min away, and there are so many cool shops and good restaurants over there. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house is cute and does have everything you would need for your stay. The shower head is old and not very good and the path to the beach is overgrown. But over all not bad

I have rented this beach house several times, for me and my extended family. It is conveniently close to shopping and the beach is right behind the house. We always have such a great time when we're there! We look forward to going back in October!

Stayed here for a couple of relaxing days at the beach. Really enjoyed the house and the down time. Thank you for a great stay.

Had a very nice stay here. The furnishing are ok but could use a a refresh. The beds were comfortable. Also had to be careful walking in bare feet at the main side of the house as there are goatheads. The downstairs bathroom had a constant stream of water out of the faucet that couldn’t be stopped as well.

Great location, very clean!

It was really awesome! The floor plan was great for our elderly parents and the upstairs was great for separation and the view. The kitchen could've used more supplies for multiple meal preps but it served the purpose.

Large home, plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds, and new flooring! Kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pans, however, cabinets are up high and are small. Only a problem if you are shorter! Needs new window coverings downstairs, more lighting in most rooms, and dressers. Most of the bedroom furniture is from a 70's hotel?

Although we loved the view and location. The carpets were filthy. There was only one bathmat for four bathrooms. The kitchen was poorly stocked. We made it work but wouldn't stay here again.

It would be nice to have a dresser.

This is the most peaceful setting for a vacation getaway. The house is clean, comfortable, and a great location.

Loved the house and beautiful views from the 2nd floor. We did notice a few sugar ants on the counter in the kitchen. Hot water was lackluster. The 2 people in the upstairs bedroom & bathroom got warm showers. The showers downstairs had barely warm water at first, then went cold.

The property management was very responsive and I give a positive review for them. The home itself is okay. If you rent this home, note that the home has TINY water heaters and you will have a hot shower for 4 minutes or less, and you will not have back to back showers. I wish I had been made aware of this shortcoming as I would not have rented this home. After a cold rainy walk on the beach hot showers for all of us would have been nice. Also, the beds are real springy and soft if that matters to you. As for cleanliness, there was actual food on the kitchen counters, fingernails on a bedroom floor, hair in the shower. The view from upstairs was beautiful, however, I will not be renting this home again.

Relaxing quaint comfortable stay in a beach cabin

Carpet upstairs had a smell. Very little light in living area and lights out upstairs. Not well appointed

The place is pleasant with lots of room for 6 people. A couple of things needed fixed like the blinds didn't have all of the vertical blinds slats on them. The faucet in the hallway needs repaired too. There wasn't enough water for a hot shower. But we are getting by and have been enjoying this wonderful journey very much. Thank you, Delores Montgomery

Everything was good... size, beds, etc. Nice short walk to the beach & liked being able to see the ocean from upstairs.

The home was well maintained and had everything we hoped for on our stay in Florence. We had more than enough bedrooms and baths for our group with more than one large area for us to gather together and relax. Where the home sits gives a nice sense of privacy but is just a short walk to the beach and a short drive to nearby restaurants and activities. I would happily stay there again when visiting the area,

Good value. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom was a big plus. Beach access is close and private. The house is quite private also, with beautiful views of the ocean from the upper level. Beds were okay, not great. Blinds in oneroom were broken and could not be closed, and upstairs carpet is quite stained. Also some chairs upstairs had loose arms. But overall, we enjoyed ourselves and found we could work around the house issues.

Every year our group gets together for four days of card making and scrapbooking. This home had the perfect space for four of us to set up and visit and work on our craft. All of us love the ocean and it was an easy short walk down to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and had everything we needed. The beds were all very comfortable and we appreciated having our own space and bathrooms. We could’ve easily doubled the amount of ladies on this trip. Luke was very responsive pre-trip to answer any questions that I had in a very timely manner which I appreciated greatly. Definitely a great place to stay a larger group.

Loved this beach house. On a private street. Great view of the ocean and super close walking distance. Everything we needed was there. Also great house for hide and seek :)

House was nice and comfortable and great as we were traveling with another family. View of the ocean upstairs is amazing. Great beach access.

Most of us loved the house. It is perfect for a large family with children. We called it the puzzle house as there are so many different places to hide, which entertains the kiddo. It’s a lovely location on the beach with many acres to explore and very few people. However After driving for 4 hours we were extremely disappointed when we arrived that the cleaners were still in the house.😩 We left and returned an hour later just as they we leaving. They appeared to have done a good job cleaning however the front porch was covered with small, tiny stickers that unfortunately got tracked into the house when we initially all walked in. Even though we took our shoes off before we entered, they were still getting tracked all over the floor . We found a broom and swept off the porch, which helped a little bit. When two of the family members went upstairs to go to bed, they were greeted with sand in between the sheets! The bed was made, but apparently the sheets had not been laundered. It’s late and you’re ready to go to bed, thats one thing you don’t want to find in your bed! Might be a good idea to find some new housekeepers! Overall, we really enjoyed the house and its location. The house just needs a few updates and couple of things repaired.

Great beachfront property and great value for the price. It is an older home, but has lots of space and bedrooms/bathrooms which made for a very comfortable stay. Our kids LOVED exploring the dunes. Lots of memories made. Thank you!

This home was a wonderful place for an extended family vacation - we had 3 families staying in this home and it worked out great, especially that we each had our own bathrooms. The beach access was so easy and a really beautiful walk through the sand opening up to the gorgeous dunes and ocean! The home is simple and dated but the location really makes it stand out. A few things that could be taken care of for future guests - The toilet in the first floor bedroom on the right side was running during our whole weekend stay. The outlets on either side of this bed were not working. The blinds in the room in the left are broken and missing some pieces so there is no privacy. The fireplace hearth could use some safety tape or something to prevent tripping. Overall a pleasant stay and a beautiful beach!

Comfortable, Relaxing, Beautiful House on the Dunes. Very Enjoyable Place and convenient to all of Florence. I Highly Recommend this place.
