New Julie's Stuga-Oceanfront with stunning deck and private access to beach

First impression, driving up, was underwhelming. Once inside though, it knocks it out of the park. OMG, that kitchen! If you can imagine needing something, it's stocked with it. Fun beachy charm, amazingly cozy atmosphere. Decorated very nicely and the gas powered fireplace is nice and really pumps out heat. The view out the HUGE window was so serene and beautiful and the deck is amazing. The walk to the beach, through the forest, is lined with cute little garden gnomes. Both the deck and the yard are fully fenced so if you have ninja dogs who can slip out a door like lightning, they can't go far! And that beach! We walked for hours and only occasionally saw another person. If you're looking for somewhere to rest and recharge, as we were, Julie's Stuga is the ticket. A little pricey but definitely value for the money. I wish we could have spent a whole week there.

This is by far the worst rental we have ever stayed in. We are dog lovers but the stench that hit us when we entered the house was unbearable. We thought we could bring in some of the nice fresh ocean breeze but the windows had signs that said not to open them because hardware was on order (the window cranks were missing). We had to open one of the doors, the other isn't working. There is grime/dust everywhere. The kitchen is well stocked but the items are in poor shape. We found knives with broken handles, melamine dishes that were peeling, cracked plastic glassware. There were 4 in our group & we only found 3 glasses that did not leak. Many of the lamps in the living room are not working so you have to resort to the overhead canned lights. We were a group of 4 (2 couples) & thought there were 2 rooms but the upstairs room is a loft completely open to the downstairs (you have to change in the closet). Mattresses have huge body indentations from long use so it's like sleeping in a ditch. The only positive things I can say about the place is that there are a lot of books & it's close to the beach but the view is marginal given the large clump of trees on the lot & the beach path is overgrown. We stayed 12 nights & did our best to make it livable by washing things we used in the kitchen, cleaned counters, wash bedding, but NOTHING could rid the overwhelming stink in the place, especially the upstairs loft. A very disappointing rental that would be nice if it was maintained.

This was our 3rd stay at this location. It is a very comfortable home and we love the location, privacy, and easy access to the beach. Has a great kitchen with all that we needed for making meals. Easy check in and out. We look forward to staying here again.

Nice home, good location

Most of the windows in the house are broken and inoperable. The kitchen is large and would be comfortable with several people working. The loft bathroom has a large open shower not shown in the pictures. The path to the beach is about 1/8th of a mile. An easy hike to the beach

Title says it all. I don’t spend time time and money on places that are not clean, comfortable and cannot accommodate my family and animals. Place is clean. Has easy access to the beach. Very nice space for family, puzzles, games and the like. Will stay there again.

If you want to relax and have everything at your fingertips this is the place! Plenty of room, magnificent beach access, and great comfort made for priceless memories. No need to look further...book this place now. You will not be disappointed!

We discovered this place last year. Great beach access with a private path. Convenient to Ocean Park. Dog Friendly with a fenced yard. Lots of games and reading material in the house. Very comfortable. Will be going back again in the near future.

We stayed here about three years ago, and were happy to be able to stay again. The location is great; the view is lovely; the wildlife was wonderful; and the house is well stocked. It's a perfect place for a serene and private stay - you even have your own path to the beach. Check in was ez-pz and management was very responsive. We hope to be back some day.

This was our 2nd stay at this property. Spacious, clean, well stocked, great beach access. Nice layout to have a friend(s) join us this 2nd time. The large deck, fenced yard, and easy/close beach access makes it great for bringing the fur babies. The deer, bald eagles, seals, and sunsets are just added perks. We were so relaxed during our visit that we’ve decided to make it an annual thing. Thanks!

We love Julie's Stuga, it's the perfect get away for us and our pup. Ocean Park Washington and the whole peninsula is so gorgeous!
