Stayed Aug 28, 2025This place is cuter in person than the photos imply. Driveway was a littler narrower than I was used to, but we made it work. Clean and well presented. Absolutly would go back to again.

Stayed Jul 29, 20254 guests registered for stay. Only 2 towels and wash cloths available. I was given locked closet code for acces to more, but was requested to use sparingly. Rear door lock not working correctly. It would not unlock from code nor lock from outside. Front door lock also had problems. Luckily, it quit working at the end of our stay. We were requested to check in 2.5 hours late to accommodate cleaning staff. Kitchen drawers dirty with food crumbs. Ice maker in fridge was dirty. Rust particles in ice. No laundry detergent left out for guests to use but large stock of it in locked closet.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025My husband and I drove up from North Carolina to visit our children who live in the area. We initially looked to book a hotel but the amount of that stay ended up being more expensive than staying at The New Jersey Abode! Also we wanted to have a place that is comfortable for everyone to chill after dinner or a walk on the nearby boardwalk. Everything in the home was easy to find. We used Instacart to stock up on groceries and snacks. When we ventured out, there were lots of places to eat nearby (walking distance even). We also took in a stroll by the Sandy Hook Lighthouse and had a sunset dinner at the restaurant there (forgot the name). This is a perfect stay for a couple. The bed was SUPER comfy. I slept like a rock (if rocks could sleep) and got plenty of rest for the drive back home.I highly recommend this for a quiet getaway that is near water and if you go, do not forget to walk up to Mambo Nando's for some delicious Puerto Rican food! We also had Bagel Nook almost every day for breakfast and dinners at Half Moon and First Wok (delivery). We recommend all. The home and the area made for a fantastic visit with the family. Thank you!

Stayed Aug 25, 2024Nice place, close to the beach and amusement parks. Clean and well supplied. The owner was very responsive with my questions. The only issue was the pots, pans and pillowcases need to be replaced, otherwise very good.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very quiet street ,adorable house, very clean and neat and nicely decorated! All new technology as far as the locks on the doors,TV and wifi! Caroline was an absolute sweetheart! She made sure that we had everything we needed!! I would love to stay again!

Stayed Aug 18, 2023When I arrived I immediately removed my shoes out of courtesy and felt a lot of sand and grit underfoot. Also, it was 4 days before I discovered wash cloths and a bathroom floor mat sitting in the dryer. The owner needs to warn renters that the gate into the driveway is very narrow and cannot be accessed by a midsize to large vehicle if another car is parked across the street from the entrance. The kitchen is very nice but more utensils, bowls, etc are needed.
