Kick off your hiking boots & either make your way upstairs to the main living area or go through the door into the awesomely unique bunkhouse. There's plenty of comfortable space for everyone in your crew.
Come Upstairs…. Wood, stone & steel – trademark Montana appointments – along with local artwork accent the Great Room. The spacious kitchen features granite countertops, an huge serving / prep island that comfortably seats six, a gas range with two ovens for quick & precise heat & fully equipped cook & service-ware whether you’re in a hurry, or want to prepare a gourmet meal. A coffee maker, grinder or electric tea kettle will take care of whatever morning brew you prefer...on the deck or by the fire... relax & just enjoy.
The living room has a massive, triple-recliner leather sectional, a gas fireplace and a 50” 4K TV. But this gathering & relaxing space doesn’t end in the living room… it spills out onto a huge, 600 square foot fully-furnished southern deck with round, bar-height dining table that seats 7, sofa, chairs, chaise loungers & a large round gas fire pit overlooking the woods around us. Above bears & bugs ;0), this deck is perfect for relaxing, dining, or star gazing.
The Master Bedroom features a king size storage bed & incudes a dresser that doubles as a stand-up desk.
It also boasts its own north-facing 150 square foot private deck with a table for two for your morning coffee, a chaise lounge & gas fire pit. This private deck is the perfect quiet retreat for star viewing with a glass of wine or huckleberry whisky. The master bathroom features a custom tile shower with privacy glass that gives you a choice between showering with a tall rain head or an adjustable height handheld shower-head. Hot, softened water throughout 3BB.
The Upstairs Guest room offers a queen-sized storage bed, a writing desk, and its own sliding door that opens onto the large southern-facing front deck. The guest bathroom, with custom tile shower, is just next door to the guest room.
Back downstairs, The Bunkhouse is probably the most unique living space in the canyon. 15’ ceilings provide the space for lofts on both sides of the room, connected by a bridge, and accessed by custom timber stairs.
Two separate lofts give this space tons of charm & practicality. Both sides have their own queen beds with under-bed drawer space. One side, called the “Little Bear Den” is great for up to two kids or two shorter adults, since its height clearance is 5’8”. The “Bison Loft” also has a plush queen bed and has comfortable clearance for all (unless you’re more than 7 feet tall). Below is a wonderful king bed & low-set twin bunk beds that are perfect for children. 3BB has seven beds total.
If you have two families vacationing together, you can each have your own space part for all of the time you’re here. The Bunkhouse is also the ideal space for a group of young adults....next level clamping! The Bunkhouse has its own outside entrance, with covered outdoor living space and summer kitchen for relaxing, grilling & eating. It has a lockable door to the main entrance foyer/mudroom.
Bunkhouse Bath… Since the bunkhouse sleeps 8 comfortably (two lofts / open floor plan), it has a split bathroom plan with separate rooms for shower (w/sink) & toilet (w/sink). A vanity in the bath hallway doubles as a kitchenette (w/sink), K-cup coffee maker, tea kettle and a full-size refrigerator so that you don’t have to go upstairs for food or drink, and to keep the food you’ll be Summer Kitchen grilling outside.
The Bunkhouse features:
• 1 king size bed
• 2 queen size beds (one of the queen bed lofts has lower ceilings, ideally for those under 5’8”), other queen bed loft has a 7’ ceiling.

This remote setting is unusually well connected to the outside world. A real rarity so very close to Glacier National Park. Three Bear Basecamp features modern connectivity, including:
• Dependable, stable, high-speed WIFI throughout and around the building for conference calls, internet & video conferences – something you won’t find in many places so close to Glacier National Park (Approximately 50 MBPS with indoor & outdoor WIFI access points)
• Cordless landline phone (VOIP) – a great option for your important personal & business calls because even though we get strong cellular service on property, high seasonal demand for cell service so near the park can often lead to dropped cellular calls within several miles of Glacier.
You will absolutely love the close proximity to Glacier National Park, the wild & scenic river access points, secret local favorite hang-outs, generous amenities, available concierge services & many more creature comforts to be discovered at & near Three Bear Basecamp in West Glacier.
