New! Gulf & Lake Views, 6 BR, HEATED Pool & 2 minute walk to the beach!

Upon arriving at the property we noticed a leak that was causing quite a bit of flooding on the third floor and into the second floor. We contacted management and the issue was resolved quickly. The cleanliness of the property was not perfect-the smell inside the house was stale and there were quite a few cobwebs, indicating the house possibly was not rented the week before so the cleaning crew took some shortcuts. There are a bunch of steps that are not visible in the pictures. It is a four story home so steps are expected, but there are a bunch-not ideal for older family members or disabled family members.Those were the only negative things I have to say about the property. This property has an amazing layout, very close to the beach, and gorgeous views. We were close to grocery stores and restaurants. We ordered groceries ahead and did Wal-Mart pick up and also did a Wal-Mart delivery. The pool is nice and close-it is also clean and was not super crowded the times we went. The best part about the location of this house is the closeness to the beach. We have a family of 20-ranging from 75 years old to 7 years old. The location to the beach was perfect. Go early and set up your chairs and tent then head back whenever. We were close enough that we walked back to the house for lunch then headed back to the beach. We ate dinner at Old Florida Fish House-make reservations, but it is a super neat place. I also recommend having Buddy’s steam some seafood for you to pick up.

The house was perfect to accommodate our entire family of 17. Me and my husband slept on the bottom level which we loved, it was like we had our own place. The bunk room was great for all the kiddos. The beach was just a few minutes walk away and not too crowded. The garage game room was great for the teenagers to play games in. It was very easy to communicate with the host through text messaging. We would love to stay there again in the future!

This was the perfect place for the board to work un distracted with refreshing breaks of walks on the beach.Accommodations allowed each member to have their own space with great collaborative working space.

Finding housing for 5 married couples and 9 kids is hard, but A Lovely Day was perfect for us! The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook meals each evening. The bed arrangement fit our needs, but the one thing the house needed was more linens. There were two towels per bedroom and NO additional bed linens. There was a surplus of pillows in the closets but no pillowcases. We all got a good workout on the stairs and the walks to the beach. The beach situation is interesting in that one access didn't allow tents, and you had to wade through the lake run-off at the other. The water from the lake did make a great place for the kids to play, though. The nearby pool was also a favorite with the kids. Overall, it was a lovely place to spend our week together!

I will say the public beach area that is through the main steps you’d use is fairly small, so if it’s a crowded day, you might have a lot of people there. However, if you have young kids, I’d recommend going to the Eastern Lake beach access because there is plenty of space there and it’s like a huge kiddie pool for the young kids - they loved it! Only catch is you have to walk through the water to get to that beach access, but it wasn’t a huge deal. I’d stay here again!

You are right across from the beach, and coffee off the dec in the morning is awesome! If you have kids or teens, the layout is perfect. The garage they turned into a game room was so nice for all the kids! Beds were so comfortable! More towels is my only request! We will definitely return! Rental company, as usual, is so great and attentive! Definitely will book this beautiful home again!

The home was spotless. We were close to the beach and shops. But not in the think of the craziness of spring break. The weather was perfect. We loved all the extras provided by the property, sand toys, beach chairs, the foosball and ping pong tables were the perfect rest for our sun burned skin. I would highly recommend this property!

We loved the flexibility of going to the gulf or the lake. The pool was also great, hardly anyone at it. Only complaint were on the new owners, no elevator or gameroom as previously described in the listing.
