Stayed Aug 15, 2025Overall this was a quaint little house to stay. Perfect location. Parking wasn't terrible but when the back house used the driveway we had to find street parking. The floor had a gritty feeling under your feet. I attributed it to sand which is common for a beach house but we had our infant crawling everywhere. Overall great stay! Would recommend.

Stayed Aug 21, 2025It’s a convenient location right near the beach and boardwalk, walkable comfortably to most things and that’s what caught my eye. It’s also a standalone unit which is nice for a family with kids that like to play games and watch movies into the night. That ends the niceties. We contacted the host when no remotes worked for the smart TV. Overnight the first night we discovered the fridge and freezer didn’t hold temperature losing all of our food we brought for picnicking on the beach and making our ice blocks useless. The place was made up but not clean—thick layers of the dust and dirt on the air vents, stains on the walls, dirt on the floor. The bedrooms are 1 twin and two full beds, there is no queen as listed. And they’re cheap and uncomfortable frames and mattresses. It looks like one twin and full bed used to be a bunk combo that was separated. We reported everything early and remained communicative. Nothing was done. The fridge was especially troublesome. No snacks that could spoil. No cold drinks. When they didn’t fix anything I started to go through the fridge settings to factory reset it. I think I repaired it for the next guest. But this was one of the worst vacation stays in recent memory.

Stayed May 23, 2025Property was exactly as described and nicely appointed for an extended weekend stay. The distance from the boardwalk was perfect, as it allowed us to easily walk to the action without having to be bothered by it once we decided to retire for the evening. I woyld definitely book again -- even on MDW.
