New cottage with pool and walkable to downtown/beach

This house was wonderful. It was very clean and a perfect spot for our large family gathering.

Location was great! A 10 minute walk to restaurants/shopping and a 15 minute walk to beach. We had a family of 9 sharing the home with plenty of room to spare. We enjoyed family time on the porch after returning from beach and in the basement game room area in the evenings. We would certainly book this rental again.

The property was adorable, and perfect for a large group. It was within walking distance of everything, super clean, and the space was extremely well thought out. The host was kind and proactive. Make sure to bring your own paper towels, but otherwise everything was provided.

This house is such a gem and SO well stocked, but remember to bring your own toiletries!!

We had a wonderful stay. The host was communicative, the property was clean, it was a great proximity to town, and provided ample sleeping arrangements for our group. We will be recommending this spot to others and hope to be back!

Fabulous family trip to gather and celebrate Thanksgiving. The accommodations were perfect. The walk into town and to the lake was easy for the kids. The local market had everything we needed. The host was responsive to all inquiries. We hope to be back next year.

Great beach house just over half a mile walk from a lovely public beach. House is well maintained. We were there during the week in the summer and the beach wasn’t overcrowded. The water was clear and the beach was reasonably free of litter.

We had a fantastic stay in New Buffalo with our group of 14! The home was well-stocked with everything we needed—especially appreciated the coffee maker, crock pot, and thoughtful kitchen supplies. The bunk room was a huge hit and perfect for a multi-night slumber party for the kids. The location couldn’t be better—an easy walk to town and the beach, with quick evening trips to Nancy’s for our nightly ice cream becoming a favorite tradition. Highly recommend for a comfortable, family-friendly getaway!

We've stayed at a couple of the Merchant Street Cottages and we absolutely loved our stay here. Plenty of space inside and out, fantastic porch and tons of beach toys, games, etc. Honestly had everything we needed. We just booked again for next year and would love to do the same from here on out.

This is our second summer staying at this property and it is the perfect getaway for our family! The layout is perfect for my husband and I, our 3 children and both sets of grandparents. Everyone has their own floor, and the common spaces allow for spreading out. We love the location and proximity to downtown and the beach. We hope to be back again next summer!

The house was very clean and neat. It was so close to everything; stores, restaurants, beach, pool. We never used our car.

The vacation house is beautiful in a neighborhood close to town: spacious, great design, lovely bathrooms and overall decor, clean and comfy. Loved the front porch with swing and back sun porch. Community pool was a big plus, especially with the heat wave. Appreciated the owner’s accessibility. Was a great stay for us in New Buffalo!

Our group of friends enjoyed this home which is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It is clean and we really liked the layout. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms for a large group. We were surprised by the lack of large pots and pans. We were cooking for six and had to buy a large pot for pasta. Hopefully they will also supply a bit more toilet paper for guests. Each bathroom had about a half a roll. Otherwise we loved the place and communication with the owner was excellent. .
