Beautiful home, cozy bed, great communication

Beautiful location, quiet neighborhood right across the street from a dog park. Beautiful home - very clean and spacious, well stocked, and matched the description online. The only cons were that the doors creaked VERY loudly when opening/closing, and the shower was scalding hott for about 2 minutes and then freezing cold every time someone tried to shower. We coudln't figure out how to maintain the shower temperature!

The bungalow is not new, as described, but very comfortable and convenient for supermarket and metro.A number of light bulbs need replacement especially the kitchen.Waste disposal does not work

This pretty, well-appointed home is walkable to UC Berkeley, coffee and grocery. We stayed a week with three kids while visiting family in Berkeley and the bunk beds were a hit. We had a snafu with the hot water and could have used a fan or two (we were there when it was hotter than usual), but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen and large dining table a help given we were traveling with kids. Extremely clean. The host was communicative so we should have reached out sooner about the shower’s hot water quirk but a house guide would have explained it too. There’s a dog park and small climbing dome across the street for the kids. We managed to find street parking each day but needed to move the car by 10am most mornings. New pillows would be appreciated. Overall, I enthusiastically recommend a stay here and already sent the listing to friends.

Lovely place to stay for our family of 4. Easy keyless check-in. Very clean and lots of comforts. We especially enjoyed the selection of books and how easy it was to cook (pots/pans, utensils, etc.). This was the first rental we've stayed in where the chef's knife was actually sharp and usable! We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful historic home comfortably accommodated three generations. Impressive library — wish we could have stayed longer to read all the books! My “discerning” mother especially loved the marble bathroom. Access couldn’t have been easier, and host was responsive and graciously allowed me a little extra time for a work call before checkout. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

We had a great weekend in Berkeley. The house was close to everything we wanted to do. The house itself was great with plenty of space and comfortable beds. We would book again.

The property was great. The only two issues that bothered us were the lack of parking close by and the lack of an additional bathroom. With 4 guests it was difficult at time to share the bathroom, especially when in a hurry to get somewhere. Apart from this, the house was well furnished, with all the amenities and in a quite neighborhood.

We had a lovely stay at this Berkeley house. It was striking distance to family in the East Bay as well as day trips to San Francisco. The house is across the street from a nice park and nearby stores and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

We flew in to see our son and his fiance who live just up the street. The property was as advertised great accomodations, roomy, clean, easy walk to UC, dining and, of course, the BART into SF. Will try to book this place again. Thank you!
