New Bear Lake home on golf course, includes private hot tub! IDEAL BEACH ACCESS

Host was very attentive to all my concerns. Items in the garage were pretty broken downs. Darts were busted. Besides that we all had a very good time.

Poor customer service. Disappointing amenities. Beware of trash policy! In all fairness, it was good, until it wasn't. We were made aware before arrival that some of the amenities would not be useable because the guests beforehand had misused. Upon arrival we were then made aware that hot tub would not be in working condition for the entirety of our stay and were told we would be refunded only 50. We understood that these things can happen and so did not initially create a fuss. After an otherwise, pleasant stay, I was made aware by property manager that we would be charged 40 for not packing our trash out down the road. It is true, that this was buried in the long check-in text, but was not shown/clear in the checkout instructions on the property. We were also told that we violated the loose trash policy, by leaving our one trash bag that we used in the garage, next to the garbage bin that was already completely full when we had arrived. After suggesting to the PM, that the waiving of the trash fees would've been a nice gesture since we were unable to use the hot tub and that she had expressed how bad she felt about it, she then went on the defensive, first offering 25 off of fee, and then finally offering 15% discount on next stay and 100 for ice cream, missing the point completely. I wasn't looking for all of that, just some proof that they were trying to create a great experience, like she claimed. Instead, she wasted lots of mine and her time arguing her points.

Amazing place to stay for our family. The grandkids loved it! Loved how convenient it was from here to schedule jet-skis and spend a day at the Utah State Park, Rendezvous Beach.

Beautiful and comfortable house. Awesome view of the lake. The Ideal Beach access was a great feature! Host was responsive and helpful! We would stay here again if we get the chance!

The kids loved the swings, the climbing done, and the bunk beds. Plenty of room for them to run around and play. A few people on our party woke up early enough to see the breathtakingly beautiful sunrise views from the deck. It’s a really pretty place.

We loved the hot tub and swings! Plenty of room and seating for everyone in the house. Beautiful and clean. It was fun to have games and a small fridge in the garage for drinks.

We had a wonderful time, the house is fantastic. Great bed configuration for large groups. Lake view is great.

Overall satisfactory. Texted the host with issues that should have been addressed before we occupied the house and were very impressed with the response we got. It was very timely and concerning.

This home is clean, aesthetically beautiful, comfortably decorated, fabulous location and stunning views! The kitchen is well stocked. The floor plan is awesome with great gathering areas, the outdoor swing and hot-tub were wonderful! Pros -Access to Ideal Beach Resort and their amenities (very easy to access!) -Location and incredible views-truly! -Lots of seating-we loved how there was seating indoors as well as on the deck. -Clean, new and decorated like out of a magazine. -Lots of beddys bedding (some loved them, others did not but they make making the bed so easy with just a zip up) -Thoughtful guest supplies like s’mores sticks, recipe book, first aid kit, cleaning supplies -Lots of towels available-this was so nice! -Lots of hooks in the bathroom which was so convenient -Fun games and activities at the home (ping pong, dart, board games etc) -Fridge in the kitchen as well as in the garage Cons -Mostly twin beds-the bunk room is awesome and we were impressed with how many beds could be fit into one room but it is pretty tight between the beds-some felt like they were sleeping in a tight cave and kept hitting their heads -The larger beds were comfortable but the twins were not -Bring extra toilet paper (each bathroom was allotted 2-3 rolls and they were small rolls-not the Costco size ;) -Bring some large mixing bowls, but other than that the kitchen was well stocked -Kitchen faucet took some getting use to as it is one of the touch ones
