New 1 Br Barn Apartment near Schoharie Creek in Hunter Village

Omg, this barn apartment! I loved this place and I’ll definitely stay here again. Amazing location and our hosts were so gracious and friendly. (P.S. Don’t miss the stairs down to the river. It’s a must see). CF

great stay and spot!

Very cute apartment on a dead end street. The owners are both lovely and welcoming. The yard was perfect for walking our 2 dogs, plus there was a wonderful park around the corner that we could use longer leashes to let the dogs run around for a bit. Would definitely go back!

This barn 1 bedroom unit was just as described in the VRBO listing. The property is beautiful including a stream onsite where we caught a nice brown trout. The property is very close to many shops and the Hunter Mountain ski lodge where they held an Oktoberfest which was a lot of fun. The owners were very responsive to our requests. I would highly recommend this property. We are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you!

Better than expected and all was great. Loved it.

The place is a great. Close to everything, price is reasonable, and the place was very well kept. I want to give 5 stars but the bed is so bad I can’t. I left a night early because of it. I thought the other reviews that mentioned the bed were people who were just complainers but it is really bad. I’m glad I got to experience the place and the area but I would not want to book here again because of the bed.

We found the property to be well maintained with park like landscaping. Unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and caring. Location was convenient to shops in town and found the rate reasonable and pet friendly.

The barn is a lovely cozy getaway. It’s private in a beautifully landscaped location. There are steps down to a little river/stream and a short walk to the ski area. From here we ventured out to little towns and light houses. My only grumble is that the bed is quite firm, but that’s a personal opinion, others might love it. I highly recommend staying here and am likely to return. The owners are lovely folks and friendly. The barn has everything you need and you can tell they paid attention to the little details when they planned it. 5 stars!!

Clean, cozy, looks brand new.

The barn is absolutely lovely, decorated so nicely, and absolutely pristine. The surrounding area was beautiful for walking/running. Perfect for a peaceful getaway!
