The two-acre property boasts a salt-water solar heated pool, hot tub, bocce court and fire pit, plus indoor and outdoor kitchens. Both kitchens feature soapstone counter tops and quality cabinetry. Put your culinary skills to work on a Wolf Range indoors and Wolf Grill outdoors – or try your hand with the “Big Green Egg” grill and smoker. Cook together with family and friends in the open concept kitchens. The indoor kitchen design includes white cabinetry, subway tile back splashes, an enormous Farmhouse Sink, and pot filler, as well as pass through to the outdoor kitchen.
The central indoor dining area, anchored by a large farm table with ample seating, is open to the kitchen and living area, stacked stone fireplace and television/entertainment center. We are on well water and it has proven to be too hard for the ice machine to handle. Guests should plan on bringing own ice.

Wildlife
We are in the countryside so there will be occasional wildlife activity on our property. We do our best to live peacefully with nature and try being respectful of their habitat, but if ever in doubt about safety please do not approach or try to touch.
There are some insects that come with living in nature: spiders, ticks, ants, flies, bees, etc. We always try to do our best to keep them out of the house, but if the doors are open a lot, they can get in. Please be aware that we occasionally have deer on our property, even with the best attempts to keep them out. There have been garden snakes (small and harmless), California King snake (can bite if threatened but not venomous), Rattle Snakes (dangerous, please do not approach). Please be little more cautious on the field with animals and kids. Watch your step. Ticks are common in Sonoma County, so please do practice daily tick checks.
We have also seen skunks, raccoons and foxes on the property. Please be aware that there might be mountain lion roaming at night. Please don’t let pets out alone at night and no overnight camping in the yard. We have not seen one ourselves yet, but we have had some activity with neighboring homes.

We hosted Christmas here with family flying in, and it couldn’t have been better. kitchen is completely stocked. Heck, everything is stocked. Fabulous!
House is lovely. Beds were comfortable. Backyard was especially fun, great seating arrangements, hot tub and bocce court. Our grandson loved the play equipment. The climbing wall was his favorite. We had Thanksgiving there and the kitchen is so well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. All the extras, including the candy jar, were greatly appreciated.
Great time Super well equipped kitchen!!
Absolutely beautiful home and property. My kids and grandkids swam almost the entire time in the warm and beautiful pool. We played bocce, corn hole, basketball and the swing set was a huge hit with the grandkids. The house is so spacious with plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The house had just about anything you could possibly want or need. We prepared meals in the awesome kitchen and tried our barbecue skills with the wonderful outdoor kitchen. Everyone was able to sit together for our meals at the huge dining table. Really just a wonderful home.
This family vacation house on VRBO was absolutely perfect! The beautiful and well-maintained property provided ample space for our family to relax. The kids loved the pool and the game room was a delightful retreat. Plus, the location was easy to get to, very quiet and seculded which made it an ideal choice. The owner's responsiveness and hospitality made our stay even better. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended!
We had a group of 6 adults and 3 toddlers staying at the property and it was absolutely perfect! There was enough space for each family to have their own space but the perfect areas for us to gather together. The amenities for the kids was above and beyond!
This property did not disappoint. It was just as advertised and a wonderful place for a family get away!
We were a group of moms and had the absolute best time. The property lives up to the pictures, but is even more spacious in person. The house is so well stocked, we couldnt believe how little we had to think about. High quality toiletries and things like packaged toothbrushes, new deodorant, floss and makeup remover were in every single bathroom. The kitchen was a dream with nespresso and pods, beautiful indoor and outdoor drinkware and serving platters. We rented for three days and stayed in as much as possible because we were so charmed by the well-appointed interior and the luxurious backyard. We can’t wait to come back with our families, or for another girls trip. This property has something for everyone!
Our family stayed in this beautiful vrbo for the week of spring break while we enjoyed the area. It is in a great location to several various valleys of wine country and within driving distance of several top wineries in both Russian River and Napa regions. The vrbo was exactly like the photos showed. Our family loves to cook and prepare fun meals together, and the kitchen and outdoor grilling area are top-notch. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking necessities. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and Pam the manager was so easy to work with as we booked and checked in. We would all easily stay here again.
This property was the most accommodating VRBO rental our group had ever experienced! House was well maintained and had every detail available to us in kitchen, bath, showers, etc. our group was 8 adults celebrating 50th birthdays in wine country and the house was a highlight of our trip.
We had a great stay on this property & it was just what we were looking for.
The home worked our great for our group of Purdue tailgating friends! We had plenty of room and the home was very nice, clean and well furnished. We had two full days of wineries, some nice meals at local restaurants and we cooked in twice! Thanks for allowing us to stay at your wonderful home!
Great house
Great rental for our family. Kid friendly. Bocci court fun. Fabulous kitchen, open dining- living areas. Outdoors, places to read, relax, hammock luxurious. Alas, the hot tub was on the fritz during our visit but won’t be for yours. Pool was refreshing. Hiking North Sonoma Mt. Trail and other trails nearby. We hiked daily. Close enough to groceries. All super.
Our family visited the Sonoma region for the first time. Your property was amazing for both adults and kids. We could not have been more pleased. The amenities were superb, the vistas spectacular and the location perfect!
This is a 5-star luxury home!! Our family of 4 adult couples and 1 infant stayed here to celebrate our 40 year wedding anniversary in the wine country and it was fabulous! Pat, the manager was wonderful to work with, responsive, attentive and accommodating. This is the best stocked home we've stayed in, it had everything we needed ~ the kitchen is so well stocked with spices, excellent utensils and kitchenware. Our children hired an outside chef to cook an anniversary dinner for us and they too were quite impressed with the kitchen! We also used the outdoor grill. The crib, changing table, high chair and all other baby toys and gear were readily available, even dishes for little ones and drying racks for bottles! The beds are super comfortable. In fact I'd like to know what type of mattress is on the bed in the primary suite upstairs as I'd like to buy one for my home!! The bathrooms and there are plenty for all to have their own, are well stocked with amenities. The salt water pool is exquisite as is the hot tub! There are several lovely sitting areas all around the property. In the mornings deer roamed the outskirts of the property which was lovely! The hammock, swing set, bocci court, many pool floats and basketball hoop added fun times for our family. The Peloton and exercise area downstairs was also appreciated and used. We did visit a few wineries. I'd highly recommend a visit to DaVero Farms and Winery ~ you won't be disappointed!! As you can tell we had a fabulous 5 days at Domain Bennet Valley and would not hesitate to return!! Thank you Pat and to the owners for making this an anniversary to remember!!!
