Near Pictured Rocks and trails#21, access to Au Train River, has private hot tub

Beautiful tiny home. Very well kept and a beautiful secluded spot.

Enjoyed our stay. Tiny home was nice, clean, bed was comfortable, hot tub and fire pit were great when we were able to use it. My only complaint was that they really need to look into having the grounds sprayed. The mosquitoes were horrible which made using the outside amenities almost impossible.

Perfect for a couple's getaway. We got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Only downside was we had the incorrect wifi info so it interfered with booking some of our excursions (we waited to monitor the weather to book). I had to spend time problem solving, which is never fun on vacation. Ended up being that the wrong wifi was provided. Even so, this didn't impede on the overall experience. Would stay again.

We had some issues with an ant infestation at check in, but the host was very accomodating in having it treated and cleaned, and refunded us for the day we missed out on here. This spot was absolutely beautiful. Very serene and quiet, and not too far from all the sight seeing at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We had a great time!

This place was great! We were up in that area for a long weekend to check out Waterfalls. It was 15 min drive to Pictured Rocks. Was in a private area and was very well kept up. The mosquitos were intense when we first got there guessing because l you are right off of the au train river. However, we had brought thermacells so we were able to enjoy the hot tub and the deck area. Highly recommend.

We just spent five relaxing days at this beautiful tiny home and had a wonderful experience! The cabin is brand new, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the cozy space. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay. We truly enjoyed the quiet surroundings and appreciated how well-maintained everything was. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into creating a welcoming retreat. We also brought an ORV and was able to connect to the trails directly from there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway—would definitely stay again!

My spouse and I stayed at Hillside Hideaway for a long weekend in August. It was modern, spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable. Even though it is a “tiny house,” we did not feel cramped at all. The location is just right - close to everything in Au Train but it feels remote and private. We enjoyed the cozy interior and also the beautiful outdoor patio area by the pretty brook. The grill worked great. The Host was very helpful and responsive, and cheerfully accommodated me when I accidentally left something. We definitely want to stay here again.

The tiny house was a great rental, sitting on isolated wooded land with 3 others just like it. You have your own private deck and fire pit backing up to woods and a stream. Location is down a gravel road back off the main drag in the small town of Au Train; 2 minutes to a great beach on Lake Superior and about 10 minutes from downtown Munising, with tons of outdoor activities all around you. Home is very well done and nicely furnished. Although it could sleep 4 adults, probably best for a couple or maybe a family with 1 or 2 small children as the loft bed is a tight fit. Check in was easy and communication was good with property manager Ashley. WIFi would get a little spotty at time and was cell reception, but that’s too be expected way up north in the woods. Overall, a great experience and a great place to stay, close to everything but quiet and solitary. Would definitely stay again when I head back up that way.
