Stayed May 23, 2025We spent 4 nights at Drift Away - we had 3 families, a total of 14 people with 8 kids ranging in age from 5 to 13 and 6 adults. Everyone had enough space to spread out and sleep comfortably. There was plenty to entertain the kids - closet full of games, Legos, toys, books, etc. TVs in every room. The small pool across from the back of the house with the fort play area was a hit. Short drive to the lazy river, indoor pools, and arcade. Walkable for the older kids but the adults drove. We had a lot of rain so spent a lot of time there. We ran out of propane in our fire pits and the property mgmt replaced them quickly. Close enough to drive to SDC and the landing but far enough to enjoy peaceful views of the lake and quiet evenings around the fire with a cocktail and mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee. There is a small cove nearby with a rock beach that looked like a great place to spend a day if it wasn't raining. Will definitely book again in the future and post closer attention to the extended forecast for better weather!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Driftaway is a beautiful, comfortable home! The rooms are spacious. We felt at home. It accommodated our large family very well! The kitchen was just right for preparing meals and we were here at the right time of year to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor dining tables. The view from the balcony is beautiful, the Fall season in all its glory! Our grandchildren enjoyed the outdoor play area, the indoor pools and the arcade. They also enjoyed the toys provided at your home. We hope to stay again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great family, vacation, plenty of room, Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Furniture and beds were comfortable and it was very close to the pool. Didn't get a chance to enjoy pickle ball since there is only one court. Definitely needs to have assistance for the elderly in the bathrooms, the tubs were a little slippery and no bars to hold on to! The only drawback was horrible water pressure, How to take a shower and rinse out the soap. In addition, the floors need to be mopped better as they were very dirty.

Stayed Jun 21, 2024We had three families with four teens and a baby, this property was a great space for our group! The views were amazing and the pools were nice. Our only complaint on cleanliness is that the floor was pretty dirty especially for our crawling 10 month old. Also, there was not a single dresser in any bedroom so we had to get creative with clothing storage. Bring hangers! The bunk beds are actually trundle beds, but that worked ok for us. We would definitely recommend and would visit again!

Stayed May 15, 2024This was one of the best vacations we've taken in years! Super comfortable layout with everyone having their own space. Kids table, swing, pack and play, high chair, books, and toys were sooo nice! The hot tub stays nice and hot, and it's right by the playground and less busy pool! We will be back!
