The Lake Max Barn Studio is a barn built in 1916 and renovated into a beautiful rental perfect for a quick stay in Culver. Our 6.5 acre property is located just 1.2 miles from Lake Maxinkuckee and 3 miles from the Culver Academies. Stayed Jul 4, 2024Made use of all the beds- including the pullout couch. Nice space, open and clean. Only 10 minutes to town, about 1 mile to east shore and the lake. Great location to bike around the lake. Helpful and communicative.

Stayed May 17, 2024We loved our stay in the converted barn. It is a meticulously converted space with countless small, well thought out touches. It was perfect for our family during alumni weekend. The hosts were gracious and wonderful. The location was fantastic! As the cherry on top, our 4 yo loved the boat bed! We will absolutely return in the future.

Stayed Aug 4, 2022Everyone fell in love with the rural setting so close to Lake Max, which is truly a unique area. We rented both spaces and the layout gave us space to relax while the little ones fell in love with Dora the donkey and her sheep. The Loft was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is awesome and we had great meals around the giant island. Would definitely rent again when in the area.

Stayed Jul 24, 2020Beautiful property and cute town with great beach for kids. Easy, relaxing stay and clean space. Studio is very bright so eye masks or portable blackout curtains would be helpful for light sleepers to bring along.
