We were overjoyed to be staying at the property. We had very high expectations and the grounds did not disappoint! The property is beautiful; there is so much to explore. The outbuildings on the property were also gorgeous (stables and gym), they were well done & furnished with modern amenities, current decor and gorgeous bathrooms. The main house was unique and quite large. It had a hunting lodge type of feel. The house was nicely furnished, but we were disappointed with the age that showed in the house. All the bathrooms were in need of renovation (they were subpar compared to the ones in the gym and stables) & the kitchen was tired as well. They all showed their age. The management company was easy to work with & quite responsive. We opted not to have them come fix things like broken toilet paper holders & a fan that didn't work while we were there, but they would have come had we requested. An unusual element of the main house was how much personal stuff the owners leave there. All of the vanities had random things in them, the closet had some clothes, there were a few personal pictures as well as boots, clothes and hats in the mudroom. This is the first time I have experienced this in a vacation rental. I prefer things to be empty, it contributes to an overall feeling of cleanliness & attention to detail to the renter. I really don't feel that this property is as good as it can be just yet, but there is so much potential!! The main house felt like we were staying at friend's vacation house bc it was filled with so many personal things. Some people might not mind this but for us, we prefer a less is more approach. We were disappointed that there was no information or binder about the property. Usually we receive detailed info on how to use the different electronics, how to use certain things in the house etc. There were a few basics given but details about the property/grounds were missed! We did ask the grounds keeper a few questions and he was so friendly. Another issue we wanted to bring to light are the discrepancies in the listing vs the actual house. There were alligators in the back pond and middle pond therefore kayaking & paddle boarding (which are listed as options) would be dangerous. 2 of the bedrooms have queen beds, not kings, as listed. Additionally, there was no fire pit nor meditation garden to be found. Also while exploring outside, be careful, we encountered alligators, wild boars & snakes!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Suzanne and the rest of Tidelife have done it again! This venue is the perfect combination of adventure and serenity. You feel like you’ve been transported into your own world with a playground for any age. The exercise annex is like your own spa and gym which we spent every day enjoying. We came with our family, but my wife and I wished we knew of the location for our wedding. Water views all around and fantastic lodging so you can celebrate all night and feel at home. We can’t wait to return and explore even more of this special place. Thanks to Tidelife for an amazing adventure and top-notch service as usual. We can't recommend your company enough!
