Nantucket Style oceanfront home directly on a sandy beach

We had a fabulous stay at this house for me and my sisters families and our mother. It was perfect with little ones too (4 under 4!)! We enjoyed the Coffee Shack just down the road and a few walks on the beach!

This is a beautiful home and my family (5 adults, 1 baby) loved staying here. It is bright, airy, tastefully decorated and was always comfortable during our stay, which had both summer and fall weather. We had relatives over and between the deck and the large living room there was plenty of room for everyone. Perhaps because it was late in the season there weren't stairs down to the beach but a neighbor let us use their stairs and street beach access was only one house away.The biggest problem we had was two houses down the beach seawall was being demolished and on all but one morning we were awakened at 6am by the sound of heavy machinery. This was a drag but when we told the owners they quickly refunded one night of our stay. Other than the construction noise we had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again- it is a special place!

The location of this property was perfect. Even though we had a nor'easter for about two days of our trip, we could watch all the happenings on Cape Cod Bay up close.

We had a wonderful long weekend here. The house is well-maintained and right on the beach. We were there in the off season but enjoyed the peace and the long walks along the beach and into the neighboring Duxbury area. Easy drive from Boston and close to the Plymouth historic areas. Looking forward to seeing it in-season!

Great property on the beach.

Though Marshfield was a home during our younger years, it's easy to be bias. However, this home is a gem. Immaculately clean and the instructions for the home were clear and easy to follow. Damian, the host, was immediately attentive to our needs and he followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. From the time of making the reservations to leaving the home, Damian and Cathy were professional and friendly. In the home, we took advantage of the fireplace which made the house feel warm, comfy and homelike. The living room was our hang out spot during the evening. The Star Market grocery store is approximately nine minutes away and it has all the necessities including organic items that you need. We walked on the beach every day. High tide was captivating to watch when it struck the seawall. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful to walk around. Haddad's restaurant offers terrific seafood with great service. There is music on Saturday's. Boston was about a 35-minute drive and during the times we drove, the traffic was easy to navigate through. Recommend visiting Eataly. It is an Italian grocery store and restaurant with a large variety of food from Italy. Lots of cheeses and meats to choose from. We recommend enjoying a stay at this Nantucket oceanfront home.

We were looking for a comfortable beach house to gather with our 3 adult children and my mother for Thanksgiving. This lovely beach home was perfect. It was a short drive to Plymouth. The expansive view and sounds of the ocean made the house extra cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked and the owners were very communicative and responsive to our needs. Highly recommend!
