My Kind of Zen – Movie Colony Luxury Stay

Beautiful property and really well styled. Management company was responsive. Amenities were perfect and just a short ride to downtown. Only issue we had was wifi, connected but service didn't work. Management company was on site upon our arrival for the wifi issue which I assume was reported by someone else also. Reached out to them a handful of times for which they were nice and were trying to help. Unfortunately, it was unresolved and we had to tether off our phone. Not a major issue but enough of a nuisance that with resolution would have made this an absolute 10/10 perfect place to stay.

Loved the house and location. House layout was perfect for our family. Very clean property and well maintained. We loved the pool and openness of kitchen and family room. We will be back soon

we had a wonderful and relaxing getaway for 10 days at My Kind of Zen. The house is beautiful, modern, and really nicely decorated. The property is very private from the moment you enter the front gates, and the backyard flows so easily into the indoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved it there. Hope to stay there again in the future.

This is a really nice rental house. Extremely clean and quiet. Each bathroom had branded products and nicely folded hand towels like a high end hotel. The master bedroom was great and has a really nice, private patio area. The house has 3 bedrooms, two of them with ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom is on the smaller side and would probably be a bit tight for three couples, but is doable. Acme management was really easy to deal with and kept in regular communication via text. They are on it! Would stay there again.

There were however, a few issues/challenges, some of which were minor others more problematic, essentially all based on the rules of the management company. First, the temperature rules. With a very temperature sensitive senior citizen in our party, we purchased pool heating for the duration of our trip. We arrived and found the pool to be colder than expected. We asked them to raise the temperature and they said it would be $50/degree/day. After paying several hundred for pool heating already, this wasn't disappointing. Second, it was 122 degrees on our hottest day, but the air conditioners were limited to 74 degrees and the house never got below 78 or 79. It was too cold in the pool and far too hot inside. We bought a box fan to make it more palatable. Then the missing pool needs: there were no umbrellas around the pool. with temperatures north of 110, we needed them, so we asked. They delivered one relatively small umbrella for a party of four adults. We went to Lowe's and bought two more. Finally, while they brought them nearly immediately when we asked, we discovered that there were no pool towels in the house. Most of this was minor, but added together, made things more difficult than they needed to be. The contact was exceptionally friendly and they offered $100 credit for our trouble, but all in, the umbrellas and fan cost more than the refund. Great house. Less than great experience.
