My Cozy Home- 2BD- Near Downtown

My husband and his friends did not feel comfortable staying in this neighborhood . Did not feel comfortable leaving vehicle on street. they didn't stay and got a hotel instead.

Check in was great, check out was a little more difficult as the lock died half way through our stay.The place felt amazing and looked exactly like the photos, kitchen was modern and clean. Bathroom was a little mid but totally acceptable. Beds were clean and comfy. The stairs were a little intimidating, and one of the power outlets in my room didn't work. Also the AC is very strong, but doesn't make it upstairs quickly, we woke up sweating.The biggest issue is if you are planning to walk, be ready for a hike, the map does not do the hill justice. It's a 15 min walk up a STEEP hill from the city, so steep our car chugged. Plus the area was a little rough, however all of the people were very friendly. That all being said it was a positive experience! And if we're in the area again will strongly think about using it again!

CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

As a Duquesne onkine graduate student I recently stayed here for my white coat ceremony weekend. I will have to admit, I am from a country town so I did freak out a bit when seeing the neighborhood before checkin. However, I overreacted. The neighbors were nice and the neighborhood was quiet. The only drawback was the stairs. But in the city this is notmal.

Needed a place to sleep for two nights while we broke up a long car trip to Ohio and wanted to check out a new city. Location was fine for that - not walkable to anything notable aside from the August Wilson house - but the sleeping part not so much. We realized in the evening that one of the beds was broken, and could not hold two adults. One of my skinny teens was fine with sleeping on it and we put the other on the sofa. The owner replied after we checked out that that was weird' about the bed. Also, the place feels about 70% ready for renters. It's got loads of potential, but is sparsely furnished, has only one working bathroom, and the backyard is just a weeded-over construction dump site. Otherwise, it was easy to check in and the TV and Internet worked.

The property is just as listed, on a very quiet street but still close to walk to downtown. The neighborhood is safe and the only sounds I heard were the pleasant sounds of birds chirping. The home is updated and clean, and the owner was very easy to communicate with. Plenty of parking on the street right in front of the house. We stayed to watch my daughter run the Pittsburgh marathon, and it was easy to walk downtown so we didn’t have to deal with parking. We would definitely stay here again.

It was easy to check in and access the property. Easy access to main roads to get to your destination. Only bummer is the one bath BUT the jack and Jill set up worked well for two guests.

Such a cute little apartment, everything was clean, appliances all looked updated. The street was fairly quiet and has tons of parking available. We had a really enjoyable time here while in Pitt
