Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is great for a family with young adult & teenage kids that want to bring friends, the second floor has 8 beds and it's own bathroom! The outdoor shower is key to making it work! Our group of 8 fit comfortably with beds to spare. Kitchen is well equipped but very small for a group our size, and the outdoor shower is in desperate need of maintenance, but it all works for the price and location this is a great deal!

Reviewer Comments: Vacation rental is older and I already knew that coming into it. We have rented this same house for the past 3 years. Looks like every year it gets worse and worse. Not very clean the same cob webs were in the same place as last year. Dead bugs stuck on the wall. Thick layers of dust on all of the curtains and ants everywhere. The door handles are falling off our kids got stuck in the upstairs loft and we had to take the door handle off. I expect ants in the kitchen and bathroom because of the water and I get that it is a beach home. But when i buy my kids a pizza and we eat and go back for seconds and the pizza has ants all in it. The master bedroom was filled with them, they were in my clothes the drawers my medications etc. I called the rental company and they said welcome to chincoteague so i thought really and went there and the man said the same thing. welcome to chincoteague we have ants. i said i cant even get a pizza let alone go grocery shopping and he looked at me and said yup. I have rented from this company multiple times and have rented multiple different houses. i wont go through this rental company again

Reviewer Comments: We love renting with harbour rentals always quick and super easy to deal with. we stayed at this house last year we love the setup of it. everyone has there own space. but this year the cleanliness just wasnt great. cob webs eveywhere there was a dirty face cloth left in the bath tub when we got there and there were ants all over the kitchen. we literally put down pizza boxes on the counter and when we came back to get another slice we couldn't eat the food. sucks when you have this many people cause we do not want to eat out for breakfast lunch and dinner but the kitchen is very small super outdated and just not clean. def will book with harbour again next time we are down but will not stay here again

Living& dining room furniture, carpet throughout, and rugs show a lot of wear.+ The loft is the best part of the house. Our 3 girls loved being able to spread out with their toys.+ The washing machine is wedged behind the stove in the kitchen and the dryer is located in a storage closest in the loft.+Screened back porch is perfect for relaxing without being eaten by mosquitos.+ Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms are nice-sized.+ 1st-floor bathroom is small, and the tub is narrow. The loft bathroom is nice and the shower is spacious.+ Having warm water in the outside shower is great for rinsing off children after the beach without protest!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am going, to be honest, this wasn't for us. I did read the reviews but the kids really wanted the loft so we went for it. In my opinion, the loft was the only nice spot in the house. The kitchen was non exsistent. Literally not an inch of counter space and I don't even cook but you cant even place down your bags of takeout. This house sleeps 14 but says no more then 10 people so I can imagine this being an issue there were only 6 of us. The dishwasher was broken which I didn't figure out until we went and bought the dishwasher pods and filled it with dirty dishes, luckily my husband got some tools and was able to fix it. The washer is in the kitchen but the stove is in front of it so if you are short you can't really get the clothes out. It took me literally two days to find the dryer up in the attic in a 110 degree closet so that was fun to then lug all of the wet clothes up there. A description would have been nice. The downstairs bathroom was very small as well. The porch was cute but the mosquitos are insane in chincoteague and they all came into the porch and then all flew into the house as soon as you opened the door. the outdoor shower was a plus but after one shower you have been bit about 20 times so we only used that the first day we hit the beach. I think we may have been the first renters of the season as every dresser and table as well as the blinds were covered in dust. as well as for the first two days we thought the central air was broken but all of the vents throughout the house were closed. This is why I hate check-in on Saturday because they are already closed when you arrive and then they are closed all day Sunday. the location of the house was great we could walk to the main street an the pier. coffee and doughnuts every morning as well as the ice cream shops. I am fine with the money that we paid for our trip but I wouldn't book this house again for me it was to outdated and tway small. The rooms and beds were fine for sleeping no complaints

Reviewer Comments: The upstairs was awesome and the screened porch was great for coffee in the mornings, although we did buy a coffee maker because the one there was gross. The living room furniture smells awful and should be incinerated. The washer and dryer should be next to each other, not separated by a floor. Bath matts should be installed to protect the floors and the owner. A cable plan should be included and the remotes should have working batteries. The king bed is not, its 2 twins that swallow the sleeper. The island was awesome as ever, this was our 20th year. We won't rent this house again.

This house was perfect for our big family! The kids loved having a hang out spot upstairs and the rooms were very cozy. We would have liked to have the A/C set lower than 70 but the ceiling fans helped a lot. Would definitely stay here again and again.
