Murchison Waters Accommodation

We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 night to book an other accommodation in Kalbarri. The appartement is very old, dirty and the shower is not appealing to take a shower. Windows can't be closed and the mosquito nets are broken. No coffee or tea, like everywhere else. Too expensive for what it is. We can't recommend this accommodation.

Nice property adverised as 7 beds and could be used however other two rooms locked on arrival, only had two people but prefer separate rooms. Could contact owner yo room open however additional fee qhich is not stated on information when booking. No tea, coffe, milk supplied which is normally standard.

Amenities - mostly good and in a good location. However, it is listed as air conditioned but the two wall mount air conditioners are undersized for the rooms (living/dining and one bedroom). We felt it was misleading to advertise as air conditioned when there are only two rooms with air conditioners and they were undersized. The windows also did not close/seal properly. On the 40c days it made sleeping uncomfortable. The furniture and bedding was cheap and beds were very uncomfortable! Missing cutlery meant we had to share forks. Noise and sensor light for rear house affected the kids sleeping in the back room.I don’t want to be overly negative but a fe improvements would increase the experience and value of the property immensely!

Great for a base to explore Kalbari, accomodation clean and basic , outdoor area lovely and enclosed We had a problem with the hot water..

Good spot

Fantastic location- 5 min walk to beach and pelican feed in the morning. And good rate and parking. Be aware no WiFi and no heat if that’s important to you. Very cold house in evenings during our stay in July, but owner will bring extra blankets on request. Also, for guest packing planning, some Stays have salt/pepper, tea, sugar and some don’t. This stay did not provide spices/tea but did have soap and TP. Hope that helps!

Overall good but a little cramped for 6 people.

good service and clean house, owner was very nice. But where was no hair dryer.

Great little unit in a quiet conveinient location, only a 5minute walk down to the Kalbarri foreshore.Owners were welcoming and accomodating. They live behind the property but definatley no feelings of being watched or monitored.Would definately book again if we ventured back up to Kalbarri.watched or monitored

The house was dirty, sub standard, neglected and smelly

Not clean, found several cockroaches alive and dead in the property. Lots of dirt and dust on the floors and cobwebs and spiders. The windows aren’t sealed and fly screens broken so mosquitoes get in and heavily bite! Leaking taps, noisy neighbours behind the property who partied every night. TV doesn’t work properly and the couch is outdoor furniture which is very uncomfortable. Leaking taps and was given one face washer for 5 people and one extremely small bottle of shampoo & conditioner for 5 people! Would not recommend. Location was good as far as easy access to main road.
