Multi-level dog-friendly home w/private hot tub, washer/dryer, gas fireplace, AC

The good: great view, beachfront, dog friendly, beautiful deck areas. The not-as-good: the hot tub didn’t work & we reached out to the property managers who said they had a maintenance request in that day but then never heard back.

I am a veterinarian, and our dogs are consistently on preventatives. We called Hatteras Realty, were told to stay the night and we’d be moved in the morning. We called Thanksgiving day, and were told they wouldn’t relocate us. Do not recommend.

Nice house that’s in a quiet location. Hot tub was clean and worked great. The backyard space is great, too. However, the beds are rough to sleep on, and the TVs are hard to deal with.

Great location, house is beautiful but unmaintained. Leaky windows, dishwasher doesn't work. I wish I was exaggerating that I found 3 different peoples TOE NAIL CLIPPINGS. Wrappers under the bed, food all over cabinets. Listed as dog friendly but I wouldn't bring a dog. The property is surrounded by cactus. My poor dogs couldn't go pee without getting cactus stuck in their paws. Hence, why there is soooo many pee stains in the carpet. Long story short, if you're going for just the experience it's a great house. Just be warned, you'll clean it more upon arrival than when you leave.

It was good overall. The house wasn’t super clean. Some of the slider doors were hard to open & close. It does need some updating but overall the location was great for beach access.

There ended up being a snow storm the day we arrived making travel difficult and most businesses were shut down. This property had everything we needed to still have a amazing visit with our Marine son. We grilled, played games, enjoyed the hot tub, and braved the cold to walk the beach.

The house is well furnished, with great views of the ocean and an awesome hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!!

This home is in a great location if you want easy beach access without having to drive there. It’s just a walk over the dune and you’re on the beach. We had fun surf fishing and enjoying the sounds of the ocean. The matressess were too firm for our liking. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home allowed us to bring our dog. Great backyard for her to play. Excellent outdoor seating options and a very nice hot tub to relax in after a day on the beach.

House needs a very good through cleaning. And stove needs replaced and carpet is dirty and stained

As you will see in this review outside of the house was rated from us 4.5 stars and the inside we would rate in 3stars. Things we liked: * location to the beach was an easy 3-5min walk. *nice privacy from the trees in the back * crows nest was great to watch the sun rise and drink a coffee * new siding and roof look very nice and clean. * parking spots in driveway were good *outside shower was nice to come back to, towash off. * decks were nice and relaxing * hot tub was great * took our own dog gated fence and had a nice shaded spot for dogs to go behind the house * air conditioner worked well * house was furnished pretty well, but needs some replacements * charcoal grill was nice to use * price was reasonable *tvs worked well Im not picky nor do I want to complain but if some of these things below were remedied it would make a huge difference. - house was not properly cleaned at all - lots of dog hair was throughout the house when we got there - all the fans were caked with 1/8 of dust - mirrors were not cleaned, only smeared. Had to use a towel to clean them ourselves - note to dog owners, if you have dogs, take door gates and a small fence for outside which will make it easier and allow them to be safe. Be carefull there are many sand spurs in any of the grassy areas on the premises. We took ours which helped. -found a few sand spurs inside the house carpet while walking barefoot, which wasn't pleasant in the night. -Wired in smoke alarm upstairs went off in the nighy. Learning it was from the dust. Blew it out manually and it quit. Another smoke alarm upstairs the battery was dead. -faucet in the kitchen needs replaced(shutoff handle does not hardly stay shut) - dishes were left dirty with food and film on them, we had to wash them as soon as we got there. - need new pots and pans; the black ceramic inside are all chipping and scratched - upstairs bedroom sliding door is very difficult to open/close. Just needs lubricated. If these things were truly tended to it would make a more pleasant stay for future vacationers. I would definitely go back if I knew there were some improvements done to the inside of the house.

Great location, with a private backyard that stays shady it’s like you’re camping in the woods but at the beach. The private short walk to the beach is convenient to go back and forth as needed. Dog friendly. You won’t be disappointed.

Home was better than described. It was lovely. Super great house and location is perfect and quiet! Walk to ice cream, lots of space and great cooking areas to work and prep. Wifi needs better service. TVs work great! Nice deck and hot tub was very clean. Outdoor shower is perfect.

Nice house close to the beach. The back is surrounded by trees and bushes which gives it a secluded feel. Has a trail from the back directly to the beach. My only complaint is the furniture, especially the beds, isn't very comfortable. Other than the furniture the place is great.
