Mrs. C's Little Castle

The house is lovely and well-maintained. The historical features such as hardwood floors, woodwork, high ceilings, fireplace and stairway made it very distinct and inviting for our holiday visit to Saint Joseph. It is well-appointed with thoughtful details throughout. The sketches and descriptions of historical St. Joe buildings that hang on the walls add a bit of history and make it unique to the area. It is advertised as a little Castle and it lives up to that - the interior is comfortable and secure.The communication with the friendly hostess was good!The location is close to downtown and the fun restaurants along Frederick Blvd. Easy access to major streets and the interstate, too.

If you're on the fence, this is your sign to book it already!!! Ms. C's Little Castile is timeless place to stay that will have you feeling like you are in 1902 when it was built! It was tastefully decorated with modern appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. I litetally hosted my family for Thanksgiving here! There were more than enough of anything you could possibly need...from blankets and linens to shampoo and bathing suppiles, reading material, a fully stocked gameroom with table games, card games and even an air hockey table! You could spend hours passing time and exploring the many spacious rooms and their Victorian era themed decor with several modern touches. There is tons of street parking but also a detached garage with fob! I could go on. The best part of the place was the hostess herself!! From the moment we arrived in Missouri, she was communicating with us and helping. We arrived later than expected but she was still there at the door to greet us warmly! She was genuinely and kind and very generous. She gave us a grand tour of the house, showed us where everything was, and chatted with us! She checked periodically if we needed anything and gave us the warmest of goodbyes. You can not go wrong with this booking.
