Nestled beside the Moyne River in the heart of Port Fairy, our place offers a quiet retreat in which to escape the everyday, where you can leave your worries and car keys behind and take the time to make memories with the ones you love.

When you stay at Moyne Mill Townhouse, you get to choose your own pace - go as fast or as slow as you want. Find one of our cosy spaces to read, snuggle and enjoy the river views, or get out and explore all that Port Fairy has to offer.

With thetown centre, river, beaches, national parks, bars and restaurants a hop skip and jump from our front door, you won't find yourself wanting for anything more . . . except for a few extra days to stay.

Your host, Fleur, is a long-time host who knows what guests want from a holiday home.

The Space

This stylish and unique townhouse is located overlooking King George Square on the bustling Moyne River right in the heart of historic Port Fairy. Once the town’s flour mill, the property has cleverly been converted into a complex of four townhouses offering a unique, contemporary and stylish riverside escape.

Our home is one of these townhouses - Moyne Mill Townhouse. This space has been designed and styled for guests to seek refuge, staying cool in Summer and warm and cosy in Winter, and when the quiet descends at Twilight you'll feel as though you are the only one here.

Guests have exclusive use of Moyne Mill Townhouse, it's front courtyard and single-car garage. We recommend guests plan to park their car in the garage, leave their keys and walk, as everything you will need is in walking distance. We have also made sure that if you don't want to leave, you don't have to.

The interior is spacious, but intimate and has been designed with couples or small groups in mind. The lower level features an open plan living/dining area and well appointed kitchen and laundry (with toilet). The living area opens out to the courtyard with views of the river and King George Square.

The King's Suite, is nestled on the middle floor, with views of the square and river and space to relax. It has easy access to the main bathroom. This is where you want to be when you want to snuggle, rest and retreat from the world.

The Marriner's Loft is a penthouse-style room taking up the entire top floor, featuring ensuite, living room, and a place to write and work with sweeping views north and south of the river. It is here you will want to sit for a while and take in the view.

The townhouse has five levels and is not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Getting Around

While our townhouse is within walking distance to most of Port Fairy's attractions, there is a bus service around Port and to and from Warrnambool (20 mins away). Information can be obtained from the visitor centre.

    We’ve stayed at this apartment before and will definitely stay here again. It’s a beautiful space with walls that are 2 1/2 foot thick. It was hot weather while we were there this time but the apartment stayed so cool! Everything we needed was there, shampoos, soap, extra pillows and towels and Fleur answered our messages immediately. We were able to just park our car and walk everywhere. Perfect!
