Moyne Cottage Port Fairy

Lovely place and was more than comfortable . Only suggestion would be a water filter tap as the water in Port Fairy can taste a little off.

A beautiful place to say with great views. quiet too.

Loved our stay at Moyne Cottage! So relaxing to hunker down for a few days in front of the open fire, and enjoy the waterfront views. A very comfortable rustic home with loads of character. Would highly recommend,

Plenty of space and beds. And had everything we needed for our stay. Cottage was clean, but maybe needed abit of love and a good spring clean, dust behind beds etc. Easy instructions on entry. Overall we enjoyed our stay.And price for pur stay was reasonable.

Spacious accommodation with brilliant views of the river. The two bathrooms make sharing simple. Lots of beds. Fully equipped kitchen, self catering made easy. Lovely walk into town and across the dunes to the beach within minutes. Fabulous value.

Conveniently situated neat the town centre, the beach and the river. This house is a bit older, but has all you could need for a great holiday

Overall a very pleasant stay..Cottage had everything we neeeded and nothing we didnt .! Comfirtable, clean and quiet with lovely old world charm of yesteryear...reminded me of my childhood home, growing up on the farm . A great location, that allowed easy access to twon and surrounds...Would stay, and reccomend again in a heartbeat . Thankyou Margaret !

A delightful older style, extremely comfortable large home and garden in just the perfect spot, overlooking the beautiful Moyne River with the beach behind and everything walking distance, with everything you could possibly need, including a very helpful host, when we needed her.

We have stayed at the property several times. It’s an excellent location, great views of the river, a block from the beach and an easy walk into town.

This older style property features comfortable sleeping for 8, very deep bath with shower over in main bathroom. There are 2 living areas, the front room being particularly cosy during out winter stay, with huge window views over the river. Large kitchen with big family sized table. It is furnished comfortably and a bit like visiting the grandparents. This is not luxury, it is cosy, warm and homely and the price range suits this house. The beds are so comfy and with electric blankets for a very peaceful sleep. I will definitely be re-booking Moyne Cottage on my next trip to Port Fairy.

I love staying at this cottage with my family. The first time we visited Moyne Cottage was 25 years ago. The house has “soul” and it’s wonderful sitting in the front living room looking at the river. A great location and close to restaurants and cafes.
