Stayed Jul 30, 2025The house was clean and neat and cosy. We arrived to find the heaters had been turned on so we had a warm house in the evening, and some welcome cookies. The Alpine Valley Getaways team communicated super clearly on every aspect. Well located to the playground for the kids and the brewery for the adults, it was a lovely stay.

Stayed Sep 29, 2020Bright was open. Lots of shops cafes and restaurants. The house is well positioned clean and well stocked.

Stayed May 24, 2019Bright is a lovely spot and Mountbatten Retreat is perfectly located and a comfy home away from home. Well appointed, nice layout to give everyone some space. Kids beds probably not great for teenagers but the adult beds are super comfortable. Would stay again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have a wonderful if not wet time at Mountbatten Retreat, our floofs loved the yard, very very dog friendly, and so close to the township of Bright without the noise of traffic. Highly recommend this property!!
