Mountaintop Wintergreen Resort Home w/ Deck, Views

All the beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice, as were the bath linens and soaps, and the kitchen extremely roomy and well equipped with updated appliances. The furniture was newer and also quite comfy. There was lots of wood for two woodburning fireplaces--although we only lit one--and even fire starters were left for us! We are a group of eight, long-time book club mature friends and we were all happy!

Location is fantastic on one of the best roads in Wintergreen with larger homes and great views. From the rear deck you can see a golf course green through the woods. The front of the house faces east. Here is important information on the layout of the house: The first floor includes the kitchen, the first of two great wood fireplaces, DR, bunk room, queen bedroom with one full bath and the closed in porch (glass and screen windows). The second floor includes the living room with the large sectionals, second wood fireplace, a large table for crafts or whatever, a dry bar, the main bedroom and a patio door to a nice uncovered deck with partial views to the east. There is a loft on the third floor with the 4th bedroom. Unfortunately we didnt use the living room because the TV is not a smart TV and was not connected to anything so couldnt watch sports, no apps, etc. We just hung downstairs or out on the decks. The TV above fireplace on the first floor is a smart TV. There is no cable TV service. Would definitely suggest the owners they get a new smart TV for the second floor living room. Overall, a great 4 bedroom house with a wonderful comfy upscale cabin vibe.

It was lovely. The house was clean and well layed out. Washer and dryer were great, bedding comfortable. We really enjoyed the porch. Lovely view of the 15th hole. And we were able to walk the cart path prior to the club opening and it was a challenging walk. I am a nature lover and this house had an abundance of flowers in the yard. Birds and wildlife. It was also a pretty easy walk to the overlook just down the hill. 1 of the best views at Wintergreen. Hike back up was a little more strenuous. Property Manager was great. The location is more secluded then some locations at Wintergreen and we enjoyed the quiet and peace! Would stay at this lovely home again and hope the deer come back to visit.

We had a great vacation. The home was so nicely decorated and conveniently located. We will definitely stay here again. Only issue we had were dirty dishes in the cabinets but that is of no fault of the owners.

Second time staying here and we had the best time. Great for a weekend getaway to hang out with friends and family.

Great stay. Always very lucky and high standards for cleanliness. Was very impressed with property and amenities for cooking. Would definitely recommend and return. Great for families that might need a few separate hangout spaces as well.

I have stayed at this cabin twice now. The most recent trip I was a little disappointed with the level of cleanliness. There were small pieces of glass on the first floor, my mom got a piece of glass stuck on the bottom of her foot and I was terrified that my 18 month old son was going to be next. The comforter on the first floor had blood on it which totally grossed me out and the pillows on the bed were stained yellow. Besides that the house was great, the way the house is designed is perfect for my family.

We had a great stay here over spring break. House was very clean and well organized - Would definitely stay here again!
