Mountainside by Tahoe Getaways at Northstar - Pool, Gym and Tennis

House was clean and incredibly spacious, equipped with everything needed for our stay. Location is ideal and the amenities are a bonus. Only wish the property came with discounts for lift passes at North Star.

Incredibly home right on the slopes. The whole team at the treehouse is incredibly kind and helpful. Some highlights were the yoga classes with Marybeth, workout classes with Katie, the socials at the treehouse, the shuttle service, the hot tub and pool, and all the friendly neighbors in the surrounding places.

Really liked the property location and home. Really everything about our stay was great - we'd stay there again. We've stayed at a home in the Northstar area the past three years and this was the best location. Few critiques: It can be uncomfortable when it's hot, which it was. For what we paid, we sure wished we could have some AC. We do understand the economics of putting AC in a location like this but maybe there's a cheaper alternative like one of those Mitsubishi room AC units or something. The fans are nice but when we got there they were broken. The team did get some delivered right away. There were a few broken items in the home but nothing too concerning. All in we were very pleased and when we return to Tahoe, we'll arranged through you again. Thank you, John

This house is absolutely beautiful. The ski in and ski out is perfect and easy - literally right on the slope. The 3 bedrooms are each a good size, and the kids loved the bunk room. You can come back after a day of skiing and warm up at the lovely fireplace and play games. It is really magical. We also were able to take advantage of the pool/hot tub at the TreeHouse which made for a perfect trip.

The house is fantastic. It is a great size with comfortable furniture. Easy to clean and maintain. Great washer and dryer set-up. LOADS of hangers. Much appreciated. Lovely views and convenient to the Tree House amenities. Two things that would have made our stay even better: 1. non-stick frying pans; making pancakes or omelettes was very tricky, nearly impossible, and made for a lot of clean up and unnecessary mess. 2. black out shades; the bedrooms upstairs got very light pretty in the morning. Black-out shades would have made for a better night's sleep for everyone. On a side note, the fan in the bunk room is incredibly noisy when it is on. Perhaps that could be looked into? Also, a super picky note: the chest of drawers in the bunk room, a room meant for several kids, did not hold very much at all and was tricky to open.

This beautiful townhome is nestled on top of the mountain at Northstar and located right below the Ritz Carlton. It features every amenity that you could think of. The inside is an Interior Designers dream. Amber Kennedy at Tahoe Getaways is the best to work with and is incredibly friendly and professional. We will definitely be staying here again. They absolutely made our vacation the best!

Would have loved a bit more info on shuttle and the club house - we didnt know there was a shuttle on call to take you up to Ritz Carlton nor did we know there was a happy hour at the clubhouse/hours pool was open.

Overall, house very noice, however, the housekeeping group needs to pay more attention to cleaning: the glassware was dirty due to top spray arm of dishwasher clogged with food debris ( I cleaned it and then glasses came out clean); mattress pads need to be washed after use, sheets clean but when removed saw the stains on pad, washer seal needs to checked, Had dark substance on it

We came to Tahoe for a conference but the hotel was sold out so I decided to try airbnb. I have been duped by other hotel websites in the past, but the picture of the living room is what it really looks like. Actually, it is better in person. Tahoe Getaways called me an hour before check-in and told me the house was ready and that I could head over. I was skeptical looking from the outside of the home but as soon as I opened the door my fears were gone. The house had high vaulted ceilings, the interior looked like it was ready for a photo shoot as the interior was designer decorated. The bathrooms were huge and the floors throughout the house were heated. We came in October so I cannot speak to the ski-in ski-out feature and since this is the off season the Treehouse looked great but there was never anyone there when I would stop by. This is a 3 bedroom 3 bath with another separate area upstairs that has a couple bean bag chairs to watch tv that is not in the bedrooms...nice touch if you have kids! The kitchen was beautiful with Bosch appliances and 2 coffee makers. I wish I had known there was a Keurig! There was a washer and dryer and would have been useful if we were there longer. Being able to pull into the garage was great since it rained the majority of the time we were there. I would absolutely recommend this home to my friends and would love to stay here again if we come back to Tahoe! the only thing I had a challenge with was where to put the trash out. Being advised of the bear situation I was afraid to leave our trash in the wrong place the day we left. Other than that, I highly recommend this home and Tahoe Getaways.
