Mountain-view home with deck - minutes to Okemo Mountain & Skyeship Gondola

We loved our time, and would love to come back!

This snug and cosy home was perfect for our Autumn getaway. The stairs were a bit steep for two seniors over 75, but we managed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the area. Because of illness, we had to postpone our visit to Pond House from June to October and because the leaves were so very beautiful this week, we were happy we had to change our plans. Also, how can you beat this view from the living room?

Photos do not do justice to this very spacious, comfortable home in a beautiful setting of mature woods, meadow, marsh and pond, with a backdrop of a tall hill with Fall color in mid-Sept. Bird life was fantastic, in variety and number. Great Blue Herons were our favorite. Many other waterfowl also visited the pond. White tailed deer, squirrels. #1 favorite was three playful otters. We could not have had a nicer stay in Vermont. Location was exceptional while in The Pond House, and when ready to explore.

The house was very comfortable and clean.Great location,very quiet surrounding,yet close to the towns,parks and beach.

Incredible views, awesome layout, comfortable beds, perfect location. This is one of the best places I've rented and I've rented many.

This house was so perfect for our group. We had 3 teenage boys who loved having the downstairs to themselves to play games, watch movies and basically be goofy on their own. The house amenities were thoughtful and everything we needed. It is so peaceful (except when it is filled with laughter and conversation) and the view is spectacular. The house had a really good vibe…and we could tell that it was often filled with good people and well taken care of. It is close to a grocery store and few local restaurants, but we took advantage of the grill and well-equip kitchen. I can imagine this house to be perfect for every season! Check-in and check-out was easy, reasonable and trustful without too many instructions or rules. The inside stairs may be challenging for guests with mobility issues, but it created some great spaces for guests to have their own quiet or social space. The main shower was great and felt good after a day of hiking. The house temperature was spot-on and easy to adjust. Overall, we had some great memory-making and this house helped bring us all together!

Great place for our guys weekend. Place was clean and beds were comfortable. Would definitely rent again.

Great place - very comfortable!!

Beautiful house in a great location. Very close to Okemo mountain and about 30 minutes to Killington. The house was clean and really nice. Our only issue was the basement floor with the bunk beds and fusball table had no heat. We were told there was space heaters. We found two which took many hours to warm the main room in basement. No one could sleep down there. If we brought our kids we wouldn’t have been able to stay. Besides that the house was great.

This house was exactly what we wanted for a fall colors visit to Vermont. We had gorgeous views, comfortable beds and a kitchen that had everything we needed. The location allowed us easy access to many great places to visit - Stowe, Woodstock, Ben & Jerry's etc. The turn off the main road is a doozy, so keep a sharp eye out! Check out was super easy - with so many places adding an onerous list of chores we were really happy with such a reasonable set of requests (take out the trash, start the dishwasher, shut the windows). Communication about the rental was also very good.

The house was great and well equipped kitchen and linens. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

This is a beautiful property with beautiful views, lots of indoor and outdoor space for the little ones to play, and for the adults to chill and socialize. Very clean and well kept. We would love to come back and stay here again in the future!

Perfect location between okemo and Killington. House was great with awesome views.
