Stayed Feb 18, 2025Big Foot Chalet was the perfect place to connect with family. The house is about 12 minutes to Okemo. It is immaculate and adorable. They do allow dogs but you would never know it is so clean. Every last detail has been thought of. I brought so many things cooking utensils, towels, doggie bags, but everything was already there! The hosts literally thought of everything (down to some welcome snacks and advil you may have forgotten after a long ski day!) There is a fireplace that makes it extra cozy. Snowshoes are provided if you want to walk around the property (we had tons of snow.) The property is east to find and has parking for more than one car. The basement is perfect for kids, with their own TV. Leave your board games at home because the best ones are already there for family game night. You don’t need to look any further for the perfect ski chalet, Big Foot is the best. 11/10 experience.

Stayed Mar 22, 2025We stayed at the Bigfoot Chalet for a last-minute ski trip, and we had a wonderful stay. Home was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Convenient to Killington - about a 25-30 min - and a lovely place to unwind at the end of a long day of skiing. We would love to return!

Stayed Nov 13, 2024The house was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The location is PERFECT. About 10 minutes from Okemo with the cute downtown area with shops and restaurants. If it was in ski season we would be in heaven! The layout was so good for family/friends with the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and the hosts had the home immaculate with a great eye for a cozy design and added features. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything a person would need- and a little welcome gift for the morning! The yard has enough room for the outside fire pit to socialize and the stars at night without the light pollution are beautiful. We loved the fact that we could bring our furry family member, it made the stay feel like our hosts knew that was important. With it being pet friendly there was not a single pet hair from any previous stays. Great outdoor deck area to sit with coffee in the am. The neighbors are close enough to feel safe, but far enough to feel like we had our privacy. Our hosts left very detailed instructions and they responded immediately to one of our questions when we contacted them. They truly made us feel like we were in a home away from home. We would love to come back again during the ski season or the fall with the foliage with the location and house setup perfect for two families. It was one of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed at. Highly recommend.

Stayed Oct 2, 2024This was our first trip to Vermont and we couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to stay. Jeanne was great about communicating to suggest things to see and making sure we had what we needed. Even a later check out time. We will definitely stay again when we’re out this way.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024My boyfriend and I along with my cousin and her boyfriend had the best fall couples getaway. We went to some breweries and explored the town and came back home to Bigfoot Chalet our cozy little cottage each night. Grilled some steaks had and bon fire and played some board games. We did it all! Highly recommend the alpine coaster in killing on. Perfect place located very close to everything. We did bring our doggo he never ventures far from us especially in the dark. Only suggestion I’d give for anyone planning to bring their pup if your planning on hanging outside after dark bring a long leash or reflective collar it does get very dark with just the stars in the sky. Beautiful home with lovely hosts 12 out of 10 recommend!

Stayed Aug 25, 2024My two cousins, two babies (~1 and 2 years old), two days, and me had a wonderful time at the property! It suited our needs very well and was incredibly comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the front yard, walking nearby, and exploring southern Vermont. There’s no cell service, but the wifi works really well. Jeanne was incredibly communicative when we needed her during the trip. Checkin was also super easy. We would definitely be back!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Awesome little cabin in the woods. Secluded enough for pitch darkness at night, but 15 min from a grocery store and gas station. We had three in our group but could easily do 3 couples comfortably. Nice big eating table. Awesome yard. Fire pit. Could definitely see coming back here. We brought the motorcycles and explored what Vermont had, and it didn't disappoint. Great communication with host. No complaints from us.
