Cannot say enough good things about this house and the host. It has everything you need, is very clean and has comfortable beds. Our host was exceptional in that he made sure we had what we needed. We rented it for four weeks and had our family and friends come be with us. Nobody had any complaints.
Adam, our host, reached out before our 4 night stay began. He was so cordial and welcoming and our 6 family members couldn't wait to stay in his home and for the adventures to begin. When we arrived, the house was just beautiful and we all got settled and picked out our bedrooms from a choice of 4. The entire house was thoughtfuly decorated and the views from the wrap around deck and my granddaughter 's deck were scenes only an artist could paint. We went to dinner near downtown Franklin and ate Mexican food at Margaritas. Very nice place with a lot of food aerved. We got back to the house and played ping pong in the rec. room. What fun playing singles and as teams. This family gathering was ages 17 to 71 so we as grandparents had a blast. The next two days, with recommendations from Adam our host, was exploring downtown Franklin and checking out Dry Falls Waterfalls. Downtown had amazing museums, shops, eateries, flowers everywhere and people relaxing on park benches. A typical Hallmark movie. Such charm and friendliness. The Brooklyn Bagles was delicious. The drive to Dry Falls Waterfalls scaredme because the heights but the scenic route was so. Gorgeous. Ive never seem wayerfalls a d they were. I d blowing and you could walk behond them and take pictires. Just amaxing the creations od this earth.
The views this house had were just outstanding! Every morning we would have coffee on the deck, and it was just amazing. I guess with good views come winding roads. The road is pretty steep getting to the home, although it is in good condition. Prepare for a one lane unpaved road that is fairly curvy. We were traveling in a large van and just prayed we didn't meet another vehicle and have to back down the road until we reached a passable place. I thank my lucky stars we weren't pulling a trailer. One of the best things about this home was owner contact, providing directions, access code and general hospitality. It's a nice home. It was clean, comfortable and attractive. If we had been traveling in a small car, I would have been much happier. Supplies such as towels, washcloths, detergent, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, kitchen supplies -- baggies, etc. are very limited compared to other places we've stayed. Appreciated the coffee filters, since most stays currently use k-cups these days. Overall a very nice place, would probably be four or five stars if it included a warning about the road, and a little more generosity considering supplies needed for several people staying five nights.
Unbeatable views, comfortable home. It was a big plus that all rooms had double beds because some homes we rent have twin beds for children. The road getting to the property isn't all that suitable for larger vehicles, but should be fine for most. It's narrow, gravel, but was maintained. Home is not generously appointed with supplies such as laundry detergent, dish detergent, etc. Even towels are somewhat limited. Checkout instructions said all dishes must be put away, which seems a bit obsessive given the high cleaning fees. Most homes we stay at the instructions say -- put all dishes in dishwasher and please turn it on prior to leaving, we will do the rest. Helpful when pressed for time checking out. Having a grill was nice, and the deck is gorgeous! All pluses. I can see where this house would be perfect for large family gatherings because of it's perfect layout and kitchen and dining areas. You could easily have large family holiday without crowding. There's lots of dining space available! We cooked every night of our stay and loved eating outside as well as at the bar in the kitchen. It would be even better if there were just a few storage bowls with lids available for leftovers, but we found some seran wrap. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. Property owner was very accommodating and helpful. The easiest check in we've ever had. He let us know he would be available for anything we needed. A+ there.
This house is perfect for a great big family vacation in the mountains! The views from the balconies are awesome and the house has a large kitchen + living room for a large group to hang out and socialize. The host was very helpful and forthcoming, provided detailed checkin instructions. The only downside is the access road which is a bit steep and could get challenging in extreme weather situations.

Nice, clean, peaceful....
We loved this home and the surrounding tiered gardens, gazebo and awesome views. Adam provided detailed instructions on how to get to the property, enter the home and detailed everything that was available to use in the home for our comfort and enjoyment. In our opinion, this home and it's amazing grounds and nothing short of a Slice of Heaven on Earth. We will most definitely stay here again anytime we are in the Franklin area. Thank you Adam for everything, you are beyond a super host.
Stay there was really enjoyable, only complaint was the location of the firepit! Wasn’t accessible from the house. Just a suggestion, add a bench or stool in the bedroom to sit on while getting dressed. Socks and shoes!
We stayed at this wonderful home last week and had a fantastic stay! Adam, the owner, was an absolute gem of a host. The home is exactly as pictured and the grounds were just beautiful. The split upstairs downstairs layout of the house was perfect for our teenagers to have their own space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. As stated in a previous review, the driveway/road up to the house is a little intimidating at first, but I promise it is worth it once you stand on the balcony and see the view from upstairs! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Franklin area.
