Mountain Mist - HOT TUB, King bed, fire pit, modern brand new home in Monteagle

Perfect property for a peaceful getaway. Everything is extremely clean and comfortable. Great communication with owners. Highly recommend!

Mountain mist was one of the prettiest places we’ve stayed at. It was very clean, with plenty of room for extra people to sleep comfortably if needed and very close to beautiful mountains and water fall sites. The hot tub kept a perfect hot temperature of 104.

We love staying in this area. So much to do around. The host was so nice and responsive. We loved the place. Super cute and clean.

The house was just perfect! Great location that was very peaceful & quiet! It was well stocked with all of the essentials many extras!! I can’t wait to come visit again!

Just an overall outstanding property. Even better in person than shown in the photos. No details were overlooked. Especially loved the extra charging outlets and various chargers in each bedroom night stand. Appreciated the welcome card and treats plus how well everything was labeled (light switches, remotes, hot tub, fireplace, etc). Upon arrival we realized that we forgot coffee but the hosts provided just enough to last for our entire stay. The cabin is impeccable being brand new and feels very remote and private although only three miles from I24. We will definitely return. Kudos! Way to be so thoughtful.

Entire house well kept and clean. Host ensured everything needed for our stay was furnished. Beautiful setting and close to parks with good hiking and awesome scenery.

Wow great place and location near Sewanne and Mountain Trails! Very clean, kitchen fully equipped, other extras throughout, comfortable beds, love the Hot Tub and Fire Pit. We made some wonderful family memories here and would love to come back!

We came to Monteagle for a hiking weekend, and absolutely loved this house in the woods. Loved sitting on the porch and actually used the hot tub after a long day’s hiking. The decor is lovely and the location near my favorite hiking trail (Fiery Gizzard) was perfect. Restaurants in the area were surprisingly good.It was just two of us so we didn’t use the upstairs loft. The stairs to upstairs are a bit steep (as the description notes).We loved staying here and plan to return!

Fantastic in every way! Very clean! Beautifully decorated with a modern clean vibe. Only recommendation is to have drop shades or blinds on the deck facing wall. We will definitely be back!

We loved our weekend get-a-way at Mountain Mist. The home was beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. The setting is peaceful and everything about the home and neighborhood contributed to our very relaxing weekend. We enjoyed hiking at Fiery Gizzard, which was close to our home. We also enjoyed eating at Mountain Goat Market and High Point Restaurant in Monteagle and Blue Chair Cafe and La Bella Pearl in Sewanee. This home was well-stocked with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking and drinking coffee on the porch was delightful. We didn’t use the fire pit on this visit but hope to return in the fall to do so. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing get-a-way.

We stayed four wonderful nights here while attending a concert at the caverns and doing some local exploring. The hosts of this amazing home really know how to care for their guests. Every surface was spotless and every amenity was provided, even including thoughtful touches like insect repellent, snacks, full laundry supplies and fully stocked paper and cleaning products. We loved having a fire pit and enjoyed the large hot tub every night, especially after our day hike on the Fiery Gizzard. We also enjoyed the record player and brought our own records to play while eating or playing games. It really was an excellent stay and no words can adequately describe how great this property is. We loved the serenity of the location and the elevated design of the interior. I highly recommend Mountain Mist!

This place is very cozy, very clean. It has everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. The area is quiet and peaceful. The perfect retreat. Highly recommend.

We loved everything about the home. The interior was beautiful and comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful. Our stay was very enjoyable. The home is in a developing neighborhood and currently the road is unpaved , gravel and full of pot holes. Im sure this will change in the future and we would absolutely stay here again.

The location is close to the University of the South in Sewanee and was perfect for four people (me and my three daughters) to have a relaxing weekend together. We enjoyed the hot tub and used the kitchen for most meals.

I’m so glad we found this place! It was pretty secluded and the hot tub was amazing. The lights in the hot tub were a nice touch! The place was decorated nicely with all of the necessities (more than enough towels, hot tub towels, kitchen supplies, etc.). The host even wrote a welcome card and gave a welcome gift which was so sweet! The only thing we didn’t love is that the stairs to the loft are more like a ladder. Other than that, it was perfect. Thanks for the great stay!

Anything you could need is provided! Forgot your charger, they have extra, forgot shower essentials, provided, complete notebook of info of the area, check, want to cook in, they have ALL kitchen essentials and more, they even have a crockpot and blender. I mean come on!! They thought of everything! This home is stunning, designed to make a moderate size place feel so large!! Cannot say enough good things about this home! Plus the fire pit was already prepared and ready for a fire. Hot tub was exceptionally clean as well as the rest of the property. Will absolutely be renting again and again!!

This cabin was beyond our expectations! It was clean, modern, well-equipped and very comfortable. You can tell the hosts thought of everything to make our stay as seamless as possible. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and had every item we needed. The beds were comfortable and the home felt very cozy. The location was perfect - we saw lots of deer and wildlife and ventured out on one of the many hikes suggested in the host’s book. We loved the little ‘extras’ the hosts added - the variety of family games, the old school Nintendo system and the basket of welcome snacks were all icing on the cake. We definitely hope to be back in the summer! Thank you for giving us the relaxing weekend we needed!

This cabin was everything we hoped and so much more. Close to any desired amenities while feeling private and secluded. Too many little thoughtful touches to mention. Owners were very communicative even though we had no issues. I would and will highly recommend this property

We had an amazing stay! The place was amazing and so peaceful! The king size bed, amazing linens, and pillows gave us a great night's sleep. It was also great to snuggle up on the couch in front of the fireplace and watch tv. The hot tub was a nice added bonus and watching deer and other wildlife while relaxing outside was amazing. We greatly enjoyed our trip and will definitely be back!!
