No night table, lamp or dresser in front bedroom, so no surface to put anything on except the floor. Also no top sheet on bed. One bathroom’s tub was dirty (with hair on bar of used soap), and didn’t drain properly so you stood in water while showering. The coil in the detachable shower head had a leak spouting water and a towel hook on wall falling out. I didn’t want to leave a bad review. But after I sent the owner a courteous and nice email detailing these issues, so he could be alerted in case he had a service cleaning and managing the property, I never heard back from him, which I consider rude, soI felt I needed to. And the person I was traveling with also felt the same way.

Lovely home in a small, very quiet neighborhood. Centrally located to many attractions and activities. Will stay here again when we're back in the area.

Enjoyed our stay. House was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Only minor issue is that there were no hangers in the closet to use. Otherwise it was a nice, convenient location for us to stay.

Nice, clean open format house.

This was just what we needed for a stop on our way home to Wisconsin from Florida. It was comfortable and check in was really easy. We had a small issue with bedding that we didn’t realize until the morning, but we communicated with our host and they assured us they would look into it. Very responsive! Overall a nice experience and would recommend!

There were significant shortcomings for which we requested a partial refund - but have heard nothing, not even an apology. The gas fireplace, which was a crucial part of our decision to rent this property, was not functional. One double bed had no sheets at all, the other had only a bottom sheet, requiring the sleeper to use the blanket as a top sheet. The host's solution was to have the housekeeper hang a bag with a sheet on the front door handle the next day. There were minor omissions like no corkscrew in an otherwise full set of bartools, and major omissions like no furniture except beds in the second bedroom - no side tables, no chairs, no lamps, no chest of drawers. Made it very uncomfortable. Again, no response from the host after the stay. It could be a very good vrbo property - it was large and mostly clean - but needs these improvements.

Great location to do Fiery Gizzard and take a visit to Sewanee. House was nice enough, spacious, and had plenty of beds. Kitchen utensils and available appliances were a bit sparse. Coffee maker was k-cups only and grill ignitor was not working when we stayed and I couldn't find a lighter.

Great place to stop over on our way to Wisconsin from Florida. Everything was very clean and inviting.

The house, location and accommodations were excellent! The host was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property and I would stay here again if we're ever in the area.

We were in the area to move our son/football player back to college at The University of the South at Sewanee. We enjoyed our stay just a short drive to campus.

We just stayed one night on our way to Florida. House was clean and neat. Yard needed mowed and we couldn't figure out where the outside trashcan was, but overall very satisfied.

This house was perfect for a weekend stay for my daughter and I. Clean with everything we needed and just the right size. The owners were very gracious in letting me check out late. Will definitely stay here again. Would definitely recommend!

This is the perfect place to spend a few days on the cumberland plateau for hiking and enjoying nature. The well kept place is located in a quiet neighborhood, clean and has a large kitchen/comon area as well as a fenced backyard with bbq, etc. Access to washer and dryer is a plus for families. Communication with the host was easy and fast. Highly recommended!

Great space for a girlfriends getaway weekend.

A great little house perfect for a short college visit. Only two small pieces of constructive criticism. Fist, the kitchen could be a bit better provisioned. With the lack of restaurant options, cooking would have been nice but there wasn't much in the way of cooking utensils or pots and pans. Second, there was not outside trash receptacle. Other than that, the house was clean and comfortable.

While we didn’t spend a lot of time on site at the property, it served as a great location for us in proximity to Sewanee as we moved our son in for his freshman year.

2nd time staying and as always a good time with friends. Much needed relaxation. Everything was as planned.
