Welcome to The Bowen at Blue Ridge! This is a gorgeous home boasting 14,400 sqft of living space situated on 25 acres of gated pristine land backing up to U.S National Forest. Upon arrival, our private babbling creek will greet you just under the bridge. Your breath will be taken away by the rolling green hills and pastures as far as the eye can see. Whether you book your stay for a family reunion, team building experience, or a corporate retreat, your time at The Bowen will be nothing shortof fun, relaxing, and an unforgettable experience!

The Bowen was custom built with no detail spared, especially with the unique hand-crafted woodwork and 14ft ceilings throughout the home! On the main level you can enjoy a designated workspace in the office perfect for quick computer work and emails, with fast 8G fiber optic WiFi throughout.

The spacious chef’s kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cutting boards, dishes, martini glasses, and everything in between to create and enjoy a feast for a large group. With two ovens, it is an ideal place to gather around the island, pour a glass of wine and make fun memories of the whole family cooking together. There is ample space to grab a seat at the island, at the table, or cozy up by the fireplace with a cocktail. If that isn’t enough, you can also spread into the formal dining room located right off the kitchen.

You can relax in either of our two seating areas and enjoy the fireplace on chilly nights. Right off the seating area, French doors will lead you to the main outdoor terrace with ample seating and a gas firepit, perfect to cozy up to after a long day of wine tasting at the vineyards. We personally enjoy Serenberry Vineyards & Winery. If you’re up for it, you can play a game of cornhole and probably spot a family of deer at dusk! The kids will enjoy making s’mores in the Adirondack chairs after a yummy dinner prepared on the gas grill.

The master suite is on the main floor, with French doors leading out to private terrace access, overlooking the pastures. The master bathroom has jack and jill sinks, custom tiled shower with dual shower heads, a private toilet room, and a large tub with jets providing beautiful views of the stables. A large walk-in closet with custom shelving and cabinetry will be the perfect place to store your wardrobe during your vacation.

A bedroom with a queen bed is also on the main floor with beautiful views of the front of the property, with a full private bathroom and closet attached.

When you enter the basement level, be prepared to have some fun! The surround sound movie theater is a great place to get cozy and watch your favorite movie, play a game of Fortnite on the Xbox, or go to battle in Mortal Kombat on the PS5. Test your basketball skills shooting hoops with a friend on the Sport Shot Basketball game or play a friendly game of pool. Play a hand of Texas Hold’Em on our private poker table, or go head to head in a game of ping pong! Get Masters ready and put your skills to the test on the putting green! You will find a wide variety of puzzles, playing cards, and board games as well.

Also on the basement level is a private bedroom with a queen bed and a large walk in closet and coat closet. Enjoy feeling pampered in the full bathroom with a custom tiled shower with 8 shower heads, jack and jill sinks, and a private toilet room.

The large bunk bed room includes its own private entrance with French doors leading out to the terrace with a gas firepit. A full bed and two sets of bunk beds with 2 queens and 2 fulls makes this the perfect place to crash after a night of games and movies! With ample space, there is also a cozy spot to send emails and do computer work.

The downstairs level also has a private laundry room with a washer and dryer, as well as a large sink and kitchen table area - perfect for disposing of glassware or setting up a puzzle!

The upstairs level is spacious with multiple sitting areas and bedrooms. You can enjoy a cocktail or read a book in the designated Peter Keil sitting area, an abstract expressionist with bright artwork and decor that fills the area. There is a bedroom with a modern king bed with a private closet and attached full bathroom, with beautiful views of the front of the property. The other two large bedrooms have queen beds and closets with a shared full bathroom. A laundry room is also tucked away with a washer and dryer for easy, hassle free washing during your stay!
