Mountain Majesty in Tahoe Vista - Hot tub - luxury

We had a great time at our Tahoe weekend getaway. The home was clean and beautiful. There was easy access and instructions and our stay was seamless. Thank you.

Great time.

It was nicely decorated, but the listing description and price were for an air conditioned house, and the air conditioning barely worked. In two hours, the AC brought the temp from 82 to 81. I called the host for assistance, and they were argumentative and confusing. Said that the AC was only designed to bring the house to 75, and that they were adding another AC unit to cool it better at some point in the future. Did not offer to send someone to check it out. Downstairs king bed was cheap and had no box spring, just two thin pieces of wood to support a king mattress. These broke the first night while my grown kids slept, scaring and waking them. To top off the weekend, the hosts claimed we left the house with significant damage, which was untrue. I’m left questioning Tahoe Rental Company's ethics. The ad was misleading, and for what we got, this place was overpriced. They were unhelpful to say the least. I’m truly shocked with the treatment we got at this property.

Great location and home. Had hoped the AC would have been more effective & better instructions on limits on trash would have been helpful.

Lots of room to hang out and play board games. Adults on the top level and kids on the lower level. Property management team was great. Promptly responded to emails. Nicole was very nice, professional and efficient.The only thing I want to point out is that the neighborhood is very hilly and has some steep areas, so if there’s snow on the roads, you’d definitely need AWD/4WD. Would definitely stay again!

The lot was bigger and room for the kids to play in the snow and explore a little. It was great to be able to use the garage as well, where most rentals don’t. The location was great, down the street from Northstar resort which we visited twice for ice skating and snowboarding. This was also very close to grocery stores and restaurants by the lake. There was also a beautiful walking trail at the end of the street with amazing scenic views. Communication with the rental company was great as well. We had an all around wonderful vacation at this rental, and would stay here again in the future!
