This cute little house is within driving to distance to many top leaf peeping attractions. This is a very small quiet town with very few dining options so plan on cooking unless you want to drive for food. There is also no Wifi if you need to access it for work. Overall great property!
Terrific! Leslie is a Superhost!
Great place for relaxing getaway. Very clean house in quiet neighborhood . Host was quick to respond with our questions. House located next to beautiful lake( state park). We had full day of grilling, boating and swimming after our check out.
Leslie Hill was a great hostess. Her place has very clean and felt very homey. Will be back sometime soon in the near future. Will definitely tell family and friends.
This is a home in the true sense of the word - you can tell it's lived in and cared for, with little personal touches around. The kitchen is well stocked with basic cookware and spices. There's a full sized refrigerator with a water filter, coffee grinder, tea kettle, drip coffee maker. If you're serious about your tea, you have everything you need here. Both bedrooms are up a flight of stairs. The small bedroom can double as an office. Mattresses are firm foam. Internet speed is a little slow, which may be typical for the area. There's a stereo with bluetooth connectivity, and good speakers. Movies, music and board games are available for rainy days. There is no whirlpool/spa, as the listing indicated, but we were not disappointed. Shower head can be used as a handheld. Ceiling fans kept the place comfortable in mid-August. Plenty of cleaning supplies on hand to keep the place tidy. The deck, accessible from the driveway with a full flight of exterior stairs, overlooks a nice big yard and has great views of the night sky - perfect for watching the Persieds meteor showers! The grill is charcoal and there's deck furniture for about five people, including two umbrellas for shade. Crystal Lake has a private beach with RV camping on it, and they charge a nominal fee (I think it's $3) to swim. At night we could hear people enjoying their lakefront views, but the sound was pleasant and not bothersome at all. I'd stay here again.
An inviting and comfortable home.
