Mountain / Lake Escape in Lake Chatuge

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas at this cabin, and it was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, the cabin felt warm, cozy, and welcoming the perfect place to celebrate the holidays. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The cabin was especially charming during Christmas. Enjoying quiet mornings with coffee, cozy evenings indoors, and peaceful views of nature made the holiday feel extra special. It was the ideal setting to slow down, unplug, and create wonderful memories together.The host was outstanding friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Check-in was seamless, communication was excellent, and everything was exactly as described (if not better).This cabin is the perfect place for a holiday retreat or any time you’re looking for a peaceful escape. We couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

Host was great, very responsive. Super cute house!! It could use some coat hangers and some more cutlery. The heat was a little weird, but we managed. Sound really travels inside, but outside noise is blocked well. Location was perfect, and we saw lots of deer in the backyard and neighboring yards.

It was very well decorated. We had everything we needed while we were there perfect spot to head to a conference at the local college. It had a nice big yard that I walked my dog around. I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere.

Our family members loved this property. They did mention that you might want to check the filter in the water dispenser for the refrigerator.

Had a great stay, loved the cabin!

Our family spent the thanksgiving weekend here.The kitchen was a great place to cook! I loved the natural light and the high ceiling. Loved the claw foot tub. It was very cold those days, so we pretty much stayed inside together. With 5 people it would have been helpful to have a couple more soft seats in the living room. Overall great place to stay

We were in Young Harris for our son’s wedding , this was perfect for our short visit…a cute little place, very homey and unique….Erika and Jesus were awesome hosts…we had a few questions, they got back with us immediately and were very accommodating… The only thing we’d do different is stay longer…we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here because we have family nearby. The house was immaculate. Nice setting. Host was accommodating to our date changes. It’s a beautiful area!

Clean, well kept property in an excellent location. It was cold during our stay, but the owner had a paddleboard and kayaks for use. Great neighborhood with very nice homes in the subdivision. Comfortable beds and well stocked with everything. The only thing I would say is the couch isn't very comfortable, but a great sppt!

This house was adorable! We loved everything about it. The size was perfect and the location was quiet and safe. It was super clean and we would definitely stay there again.

This house is a perfect spot to relax and unwind! It is spacious and inviting and is located close to the lake and to both Young Harris and Hiawassee. My daughter and son-in-law stayed here while we had a big family gathering at our house, and they loved it!! We are so glad we've found this gem for future visits!!!

Although it had a rustic vibe, the amenities were moser and useful. This place met our needs even though sound carried throughout. The metal roof was a treat during a thunderstorm: talk about hearing rain on the roof!

Loved everything. Super comfy beds, everything looked clean and new. Used the paddle board on the lake. We had several deer visit us throughout our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed, it was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Jesus and Erika were very attentive hosts who were kind enough to organize a few extras for us to make our month-long stay great. Neighbors were friendly. I can recommend this listing for short or long-term stays.
